Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Thanks, everyone. I secretly felt sorry for people who met Eddie and didn’t realize what an amazing dog he was. Same is true for all our dogs. Anyone who doesn’t appreciate them is missing out on something special. I never had anyone on YT fail to appreciate their dogs. That’s what makes YT so special! |

| So sad to see little Eddie go. He was a true star in every way a dog can be! You two seemed quite a duo, made for each other. He lived the life and I know left you enriched beyond measure. Eddie was one of the special ones. R.I.P., big guy. You will be sorely missed. xoxoxoxoxoxo

| I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope that my sweet Phoebe met him with open paws at the rainbow bridge . We had to say good bye to her a couple weeks back. I truly am sorry! |

| Mike, I am deeply sorry for your family's loss. Eddie lived an amazing life and spread so much joy through photos, videos, and therapy for those in need. Truly a special little guy who thanks to you lived life to the fullest. Rest in peace Eddie. You are loved and missed.

And Julie, in the middle of the chaos of the previous week, I thought of the awesome knitted sweater you made for Eddie (and the matching one for Jack). At the time, I thought it would be appropriate to have him cremated in that because it was so special to us. It was hand-knitted with love and came all the way from Scotland. But, alas, I forgot. I pulled it out today and showed my wife and told her I wished we'd done that, and she said NOOOOO! She wants that included in a shadow box frame with pictures and other pieces of his most prized memorabilia. That sweater kept Eddie warm and warmed our hearts his entire life.

| May Eddie rest in peace at Rainbow Bridge with all of the other loved Yorkies from YorkieTalk! Eddie touched so many lives in person and on here and YouTube and Facebook. Thank you for sharing him with us! This is still my favorite Eddie memory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b645k5-uQ0 You also captured him beautifully in many, many pictures as well. We will always remember Eddie! |

| I am so, so sorry to hear that sweet Eddie has left you, as well as all of us who came to know him through your posts and YouTube videos. I cannot imagine how sad your family must be losing such an incredible soul; but I am sure that he is just the other side of the Rainbow Bridge romping with Jack and Rusty. I know that you and Jilly will comfort one another...my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

And, FE, I almost forgot about that one. Cracks me up that it includes him running away when I said "I'm gonna pick you up." He did that until he was about 13, then started just turning around when I said it and letting me pick him up! Such a great memory, thanks.

| Mike, How is Jillien doing being an only Yorkie these days. I keep thinking about her and “it’s all about the bass”.

| I to was also thinking how lil Jillie was handling Eddie's loss. From my own personal yorkie experience, the last one remaining grieved for 7 months. I saw on FB Jillie swimming, it's good that you are doing extra special things with her. She's so sweet, I just love her.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Thanks for the continued kind words, everyone, and for your concern for Jillie. My wife and I are working real hard to get Jillie past this trauma. Eddie had been in her life for all of her nine years, and we definitely see the changes in her demeanor. She started off seeming especially needy, and we catered to her every wish for play time or attention. The swim trip you mentioned was a reward, and she seemed to enjoy it. In addition, I'm taking her to the dog park almost every day for interaction with doggy friends she knows and doesn't. We're also dogsitting for a bichon for a couple weeks, and I think that's helped too. Main thing is keeping her busy and trying to continue her routine. I noticed I stopped playing "nosework" with Jillie. That was a game she and Eddie played together, and it was so much fun I played it religiously every day. So I'm trying to add that back in the routine. Thanks again.
