I just heard my parents dog (german shepard/lab mix) of 15 years (maybe more can't remember) has been put to sleep today. She had bad arthritis and got to the point where she couldn't move last night. It is really sad and hard to 'let go' of her....she was a great dog to our family for all of these years. I think they had her cremated and are spreading her ashes in a pet cemetary near by. Amy you will be missed and thought of often....

I am soo sorry to hear that....tell your parents that they are in my prayers!!! It seems like Amy was such a great companion and was loved very much....RIP Amy

I went through the same today with my 15 year old Shih Tzu. It's very hard. I'm sorry that they had to go through this.

Thank you. My younger sisters are finding it harder to understand....they are ages 6 and 8. I know it was Amy's time to go and to stop her suffering. We had her on pain medication for a while... thanks for all of your support and prayers.
