I just heard my parents dog (german shepard/lab mix) of 15 years (maybe more can't remember) has been put to sleep today. She had bad arthritis and got to the point where she couldn't move last night. It is really sad and hard to 'let go' of her....she was a great dog to our family for all of these years. I think they had her cremated and are spreading her ashes in a pet cemetary near by. Amy you will be missed and thought of often....
