| First I do want to offer my condolences...the loss of one so loved is heartbreaking without a doubt. You had 16 amazing years of unconditional love...wow!!! This reminds me of words my dad spoke on his death bed...he said "Don't be sad, life is for the living...so live your life. I have lived my life and am now ready to move on to eternity". Maybe in some strange way these words will help you now, I hope so.

| Sandy we are thinking of you at your time of loss, the love you had for Jake shines through and you can always have that it will never leave you . It will get better slowly but surely each day. Jake knew he was loved each and everyday , who could have a better life than that, you did the best thing you could have for him , it's not easy for you because you loved him. Take care Julie

| I am there with you.... I lost both of my fur babies 3 weeks apart this past December ...... I still hurt. Even as I write this tears well up in my eyes. Yes there is an emptiness do not expect to fill it. Hold fast to the memories of your baby....try to accept that he is happy to be pain free.... You did the most selfless thing you could. Love holds all dear. Time will lessen the hurt but as I know it will take awhile.... My son had a blanket made with Rockys picture on it for me and a pillow of Bullwinkle... His note stated that with these I can snuggle with them any time! I do! I sit and read relax and have them with me. Helps a little . I also had two beads made that fit my pandora bracelet....one bead for each baby... In those beads are some of the ashes from them. I wear them daily... Has given me peace to have them with me. Silly as I am I often rub them an fell calm. Knowing I have them foreverIn a word it sucks! Please know you are loved beyond belief from him.... Wishing you the strength to get thru...... |
