| Cassie is coming home I am picking my beautiful baby up tomorrow. I am excited, as I miss her so much. I am so grateful that I had this time to heal. I am grateful to have you all in my life, I am grateful to have had Muffin in my life 3 1/2 more years than I would have had her if I had not met my holistic Vet. I am grateful to my Vet for being a foster mom to Cassie until I could take care of her myself. I am grateful to the Universe for all the gifts that have been given to me. Muffin will always be in my heart. I don't think I will ever get over losing her. But I am starting to be able to function, and to be grateful for what I do have. She is my little angel now. I am able to start to move forward with my face turned toward the sun. I am learning how to smile again. Thank you all for your support, patience and love. I am still healing, but I am on the mend. Thank you all for everything. Much Love, Shellie |

| This, my friend is music to my ears. So very happy you found it in your heart to bring Cassie home. Let her help you heal, mend your broken heart. Know that Muffin would want it this way...after all, she loved Cassie too. I know this has not been the easiest time in your life...Muffin is within you, around you...with you always. Memories of her can not be taken away, remember that...remember Muffin.

| So happy to hear that you have decided to bring your baby home where she belongs. I'm sure you will both sleep a little better. Wish I could have been there to see the reunion! Brighter days are ahead my friend!!

| This is beautiful to hear. I'm so happy that you will have your Cassie to help you as you go on and don't have to do it alone. I can't wait to hear how she's doing and how she feels about being home with Mommie again.

| I just read all the posts... and boy were their a lot As I was reading about your terrible loss, which I feel soooo terrible for, and it came to mind what I told my kids when they were young, accidents are called that as they are just that, accidents. If they were done on purpose, they would have been called 'on purposes'. Please know that it was not your fault!!!! You can not have been there at ALL times for your precious one. I might add that the other TY'ers posts on this thread were all amazing to read and one can certainly tell their love for Yorkie's... and their owners. How great every one is here Through your other posts and updates on Cassie I can sure tell that you are a terrific and caring person!!!!! It is sooo unfortunate that your other baby had an accident Your dad must feel just terrible in his own way. I was eagerly reading through the posts, specifically after you posted that you were thinking of giving Cassie up, to see whether this precious and loving furrpet would be staying with you, as you need each other to carry on. Cassie was the innocent bystander. I was SOOOOO happy to hear that you have decided to remain Cassie's friend, as you have been through too much with her to give up now. By now I hope that you are together and though the pain of your loss will still be there, I think that it is wonderful that you and Cassie have each other and can comfort one another... as well as your dad, and truly wish that the hurt will be an increment less with each passing day. Special thoughts coming from Canada to you, your dad and Cassie. BTW the poem you wrote was sooooo wonderful and touching!! It certainly put a tear in my eye. If you ever again wonder that you aren't good enough to keep Cassie, might I suggest that you read your own poem and see the great life that you gave Muffin, whom you gave love and support to unconditionally, even though she had such a small chance to survive in the first place You ARE a WONDERFUL person. Special thoughts and hugs coming your way |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog You have a beautiful heart. I am so happy you are with Cassie and you are one very special Yorkie friend. Prayers for your continued days to be blessed with the knowledge that the Lord is in control of all of our lives even the sweet dogs we have. We are never alone in His presence and our pets are in His hands. The love our dogs have for us is amazing but the love He has for us is greater than we can imagine. His eye is on the sparrow and I know that He watches and loves all of us and our precious pets. |
