Papa Dee was my step dad and he loved Paris like his own.He passed away on Aug 22. A few days before he died, A hospital Yorkie came to visit Dee and his eyes lit up and he said "This is just like Paris". Those few moments of happiness I knew were sent to Papa Dee by Paris!

What a beautiful gift Paris gave Papa Dee. I'm so sorry about your stepfather. Do you have a Christmas tree ornament in Paris' memory? I have a beautiful wood ornament in memory of my Stuart, who passed 7 years ago. Every Christmas he is with us in spirit, hanging on our tree and watching the festivities. Paris' lot in life was just not fair, but he could not have had a better mommy to love him and take care of him. (((HUGS))) to you!

I have a couple ornaments with Paris' photo and his photo is on my mantle in the living room. I also made a photo book of his blog. In August my son and I adopted a kitty from the humane shelter. Her name is Leica. Paris would have loved her. (Today is 11 months and still missing my Paris.) I suppose I always will but he would want me to be happy so I am remembering the good times. Thanks to all.

Hard to believe it's been a year since Paris had to go. I still miss his crooked smile and funny ways every day. I remember the fun times and puppy cuddles. You are always in my heart, I love you puppy dog.
