I lost my little boy last night. He was 13, he only lived with me for a year and a half, but I loved him like I had him forever. He was my first yorkie, I rescued him from a really bad situation but the damage was already done he had kidney problems. He loved to spin in circles when I got home, alot of his spirit was broken, he wasn't like a normal yorkie, but he did know when mom and dad were close, he was the king of our house. He died in my arms wrapped in his favorite blanket.
I love you Petie, thank you for the love you gave me.

I am very sorry for your loss. Keep in mind how comforted and happy he must have been to have you for the last year of his life. You made his last days worth living. He ended his days in loving arms. That is how I wish my Austin (11) could have gone in May. He died in my arms, but it was at the emergency vets office, not at home. You are in my prayers.

I lost an 11 yr old and a 12 yr old this year. It is so hard. But you are a wonderful person for giving your friend the very best year of his little life, and you should give yourself a nice big hug for that.

Know that your little friend will meet you beyond the Rainbow Bridge!

Petie was such a lucky boy to have spent the last months of his life with you. I am so certain all the bad things in his life were forgotten and he enjoyed each day with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Petie going to the Rainbow Bridge this week.
But I am so delighted that you loved him, so he could know the feeling while here on this earth. Yes, those little ones that have been mistreated and have been rescued into loving arms are extremely fortunate. thanks for sharing this loss with us. Please, know that we all whish you God's speed in recovering from the black hole in your heart.

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for your loss, My eyes are just welled up with tears right now! Some people don't realize that dogs are just like people!

How sad you must feel now, but, you know how much you loved that fellow and you can be sure he felt the same way about you. The fact that you took a senior Yorkie into your heart and life says a lot about the caring person you are..I hope your heart starts to heal soon. When my heart of my heart Jesse died, I felt as you do about the loss. Only a couple of months ago was I able to consider another Yorkie as a pet. Her name is Cara Mia-my beloved. I pray that you take comfort in knowing what a wonderful thing you did for Petie..
