I am so sorry to hear about Petie going to the Rainbow Bridge this week.
But I am so delighted that you loved him, so he could know the feeling while here on this earth. Yes, those little ones that have been mistreated and have been rescued into loving arms are extremely fortunate. thanks for sharing this loss with us.
