| I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you, I know how awfully hard it is to have such a sudden, unexplained loss of a cherished Yorkie. RIP Sweet Chanel. You will be missed.

Senior Yorkie Talker | I want to thank you all for your condolences, it really isn’t easy going through this, I can’t help my tears rolling down especially when I look at her favorite spot next to the fireplace and not find her there, it just breaks my heart. Chanel was healthy and all up to date with her shots. The vet does not know what might have happened, because it all happened so quick, it could have been something she ate or some on going illness that wasn’t noticed. At first my vet thought it could have been Parvovirus for her blood had an order similar to Parvo, this usually happens to puppies but since she had her last litter on September 11, 2010 we thought maybe it could have gotten transmitted from her puppies so we immediately had blood work on our little puppy Coco Chanel who is Chanel’s daughter which I am so blessed to have her and she reminds me so much of her mommy Chanel, I know I can’t ever replace Chanel, however Coco Chanel has kept me in high spirits I see a lot of her mom in her. Coco Chanel’s blood work was good so I was relieved, however, the vet gave me a disinfectant to spray around the house to be on the safe side, I also bleached all my floors and washed all my blankets. In order to rule out any other possibilities, we decided to have an autopsy to give me a peace of mind to possibly find out what it could have been that caused this tragedy. We are also having Chanel cremated and we will put her on her favorite spot which is near the fireplace. She will be greatly missed, we loved her so much. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Chanel would have turned 4 in April, she was my daughter's first yorkie but we all fell in love with her the moment she came home. I guess we have to be grateful for the short time that we had her for when we first picked Chanel at the airport as a puppy she was traveling with her brother in the same cage from Florida. A few days later we got a call from the new owners of Chanel's brother to find out that he had developed parvovirus and soon died and I was advised that Chanel might have it too since they traveled in the same cage before we got them. I remembering fearing for her life and I was praying so much for not losing her then, we were very blessed that she didn't developed parvo like her brother back when we got her as a puppy. |

| I am so very sorry for your loss. It is troubling not knowing what happened, and I hope the vet will be able to determine the cause, even though it won't bring her back. At least it might give you some peace of mind and keep the others safe. Bless your sad sad heart!

| It's always so heartbreaking when we lose one of our babies, but to lose one as suddenly as you did has to be very traumatic!! I will say a prayer for you and your family.
