I want to thank you all for your condolences, it really isn’t easy going through this, I can’t help my tears rolling down especially when I look at her favorite spot next to the fireplace and not find her there, it just breaks my heart. Chanel was healthy and all up to date with her shots. The vet does not know what might have happened, because it all happened so quick, it could have been something she ate or some on going illness that wasn’t noticed. At first my vet thought it could have been Parvovirus for her blood had an order similar to Parvo, this usually happens to puppies but since she had her last litter on September 11, 2010 we thought maybe it could have gotten transmitted from her puppies so we immediately had blood work on our little puppy Coco Chanel who is Chanel’s daughter which I am so blessed to have her and she reminds me so much of her mommy Chanel, I know I can’t ever replace Chanel, however Coco Chanel has kept me in high spirits I see a lot of her mom in her. Coco Chanel’s blood work was good so I was relieved, however, the vet gave me a disinfectant to spray around the house to be on the safe side, I also bleached all my floors and washed all my blankets. In order to rule out any other possibilities, we decided to have an autopsy to give me a peace of mind to possibly find out what it could have been that caused this tragedy. We are also having Chanel cremated and we will put her on her favorite spot which is near the fireplace. She will be greatly missed, we loved her so much. |
