My heart goes out to you in the loss of your beloved Bailey. We lost our dear Keally Jan. 26 this year and it was so heartbreaking to have to say goodbye. Keally is probably greeting your Bailey at the Rainbow Bridge now and they will forever be healthy and young again. You will always have those wonderful pictures and memories of your baby and she knew she had the best mom & dad in the world. Take care of. RIP Bailey

I am so sorry for your loss! I know it is heart-breaking, especially after she has been part of the family so long. She had a long and obviously very loved life. I hope her sweet memories will comfort you in the years to come.

I did not put anything about this in my earlier email, but we lost our little Alex, had to also put him down, like you did. This was in early July. I can't tell you the depression we both went through here. Our other dog, Odie, was very very depressed, as well. Finally , we decided to get another pup, which we did in late August and it was the best thing we could have done. Gio has brought us so much joy, and we love him so much, and now our home is filled with laughter, love and happiness once again. Odie is also feeling so much better about having a housemate once again.
The pain does ease up after a while, but it really takes quite a while.

It's so sad when we have to say 'Goodbye'. It's good that your final act of love for her was to help her on her way to the Bridge. I'm sure she'll be there waiting for you, when that time comes. Bless you for giving her such a wonderful life. Her picture caught me off guard and I laughed... to think an oldster was still going for swims at her age! What a little trooper! I know you'll miss her tons, how could you not? That's a lifetime of memories you all shared. You were all Blessed to have each other in your lives! Love and Hugs...Kathy

oh Bailey loved the water but hated getting a bath..go figure

I will always miss my baby, the house just isn't the same without her

...I know its going to take time to heal and I just wanna remember her the way she was before that awful morning.

14 1/2 years Thats a whole lot of love and memories that I will treasure forever!

Awww Thank you so much...and that poem you posted earlier it was beautiful...like I said in that thread I felt like Bailey was speaking to me, as I read it I had this warm loving feeling come over me and I know it was my old lady.

I was in love with her before she was whelped...if I could have spoiled her while she was in her mommies tummy I would have.
