Your loss is felt deeply from each of us. The sadness loss shock pain and grief i know has all hit you at once. Just let your family and friends carry you and support you. I pray in time God will shine glimmers of light to break the darkness i too have been dealing with sudden death of my precious baby girl. I have asked her to greet Mika over rainbow bridge. My Ellie will give her lots of sweet kisses. Thinking of you and praying for peace each day.

This is so beautiful, and I sit here in tears after reading it. I've read your story about Ellie, about Mika, and a number of other ones at Yorkie Talk that are making me feel such pain, and I keep thinking about them long after I've read the blogs and the stories. But then I see how many wonderful people that are here that come rushing to help those in need to try to ease the tears, offer support, information, or just give hope, and I am so heartwarmed that it starts to heal some of the hurt that I am feeling. I hear the stories of Layla, Scooter, Carlo, Max, little Poppy, and Livi and her babies, just a few that are just quickly coming to mind , and there are so many countless others that I am missing that I couldn't possibly list. I feel there is so much love and compassion here and devotion to their little ones who are in their care to love and protect. You are here trying to cope with the pain you are feeling, yet trying to help someone else who is hurting. I am so moved by your actions. I would feel very happy if I knew that Ellie and Mika have met my little ones at the Rainbow Bridge. I wish both of feelings of comfort and peace.

I just lost my little Sophie lynn the same way. A man blew the stop sign and was speeding and all I heard was her last little yelp. The vet said she died instantly and did not suffer but Lord how I am suffering. She was my everything and I miss her so much.
My family does not understand how I can be so devistated over a dog but she was not a dog to me, she was my baby. My children , on the other hand, felt the need to run out the very next day and buy me a little yorkie poo puppy. Now I am having a hard time boding with this puppy because I am feeling guilty. He is a wonderful little puppy but I really needed to grieve for my baby. The hardest part is that I just had to put my Black Lab down 2 months ago. He was 12 years old and broke his hip. Just one loss on top of the other. I feel for anyone who has had to lose a pet, it is truly a terrible thing to deal with.

To Mika's and Sophie Lynn's moms, I am so sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart to read about your babies. I truly wish there were some words that I could say to ease your heart ache, but I know there isn't. You are right that everyone here cares and understands what you are going through.

Donnainohio, please don't feel guilty about the puppy your children bought you. He was a gift of love and concern from them. They just care about you and wanted to help you in some way. I am sure Sophie Lynn would have been thrilled if he had been a gift to her. I understand the need to grieve, but my pets have always been a deep source of comfort for me and maybe with a little time, the puppy will be for you.
