To Mika's and Sophie Lynn's moms, I am so sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart to read about your babies. I truly wish there were some words that I could say to ease your heart ache, but I know there isn't. You are right that everyone here cares and understands what you are going through.
Donnainohio, please don't feel guilty about the puppy your children bought you. He was a gift of love and concern from them. They just care about you and wanted to help you in some way. I am sure Sophie Lynn would have been thrilled if he had been a gift to her. I understand the need to grieve, but my pets have always been a deep source of comfort for me and maybe with a little time, the puppy will be for you.
