| This thread has inspired me to open a very old wound. When I was 17 years old our house burned to the ground. My loyal companion and best friend Fritzi (Mini Schnauzer) was found under my bed 1) Thank You Fritz for soaking up all my teen aged tears.....they had no where else to go 2) Thank You Fritz for making me laugh every time I came home and found that you had dragged all 47 of my stuffed animals off from my bed and down 2 flights of stairs (unharmed) so you wouldn't be alone! 3) Thank You Fritzi for being my first love.....you adored me as much as I adored YOU! 4) Thanks Fritz for eating all my dreaded FISH I would sneak to you under the table 5) Thank You Fritz for being my best friend 6) Thank You Fritz for letting me put dresses on you ~ You know you were styling 7) Thank You Fritzi for being so gentle when my new baby sister came home. I was 14 and you were 5.....we both adjusted well! 8) Thank You Fritz for being so gentle with my bunny! I love the picture of you just checking her out 9)Thank You Fritzi for running away and hiding when the deck fell off from my bedroom wall in the middle of the night! As If I wasn't scared enough 10) Thank You Fritz for choosing to hide underneath MY bed and feel safe when the smoke and fumes were too much I like to think you thought you would be safe with me......I'm sorry I wasn't there

| So many people are struggling with the loss of their little ones, and I know how difficult it is to cope with the loss of one loved so dearly. When I lost my precious Ashley three years ago, I found this thread very therapeutic. I hope it helps someone.

| It is lovely, thank you for bumping it up to help those who are currently grieving, and those who have had losses in the past.

| Once again I am bumping this thread in the hope of helping others who are grieving the loss of their babies. It really helped me to write to my little girl.
