| I am very sorry to hear of your painful emotions of losing this puppy. This is part of breeding and it happens. I breed for the same reasons it sounds like you started and the same reason your mother-in-law breeds. Because I love Yorkies I want to spread the love and joy that they bring to my life to others. I have been through this twice. Except one of my little babies suffered a lot more. The other one got away from the nest and its body temperature dropped and he didn't make it. I felt horrible. I also saved one that this happened to also. God bless you in your endeavors and just do the best you can. YT is a great resource.

| I'm so sorry you lost one of your babies, I can't imagine how sad that must be for you. I'm glad that the other four are doing well! Good luck with your new little family!

| It's so hard to lose them no matter what age. We lost a 5 week old male the first and only litter we ever had. It upset me so much that I've never done the breeding thing again. We have gotten all of ours spayed since then. When I look back on the pictures there was always one that laid further away from the others but I'm not sure if it was him. He always nursed good but I wonder if something was the matter with him from the start. |
