Senior Yorkie Talker | Lost my very first Shelby 2006 I got a beautiful baby shelby in 2006,she was my pride and joy.We were on our way to the shop and got hit by a car that went through a red robot. I came to and my husband Louis was calling my name and Shelby was no where to be found.Because I was injured they wanted me to stay put until the ambulance arrive but I didn't care I was inconsolable and kept screaming and crying for my baby.No one could understand that the only thing on my mind was the whereabouts and safety of my yorkie. I went to the hospital for x-rays and when I was released we went back to the scene and searched for her.We found her on the side of the road she had been hit by a car (we think). We picked her up and took her home and buried her under the oak tree wrapped up in her blankie and mom's jersey to keep her warm. That was the worst day of our lives,my heart was shredded and things have never been the same without her. I have named one of my new babies Shelby in memory of my first Shelby

| I, too, am glad you are ok, but so sorry you lost your precious Shelby. Your new little girl, even tho she will have her own personality, will help your broken heart heal. Hugs and prayers as you go thru this sad time.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Thanks everyone. I actually got Jamie a few months after Shelby died,we called the breeder that we got shelby from but she "claimed" she never had any puppies. Then we found another one and waited for 6 weeks from when the puppy was born and the horrible woman went and sold the puppy. We were hoping to get another girl as all our other dogs are girls but were unable to- the prices were horrendous (there is a bunch of people here only out to make money from selling puppies).Anyway my hubby Louis moved heaven and earth and found a breeder called Lynda Claase who told us she had a little boy but he was booked, she said the man had never come back to her.So operation get Jamie began,I called her continuously, some begging and pleading was involved and I was honest and told her what had happened to Shelby.Anyway finally Jamie came home with us and the healing began. Where the current Shelby comes in is that Jamie and Jessie were very naughty and presented us with a litter of four on the 15th October and the littlest one has been named Shelby. My husband swears that she has been re-incarnated.
