I got a beautiful baby shelby in 2006,she was my pride and joy.We were on our way to the shop and got hit by a car that went through a red robot.

I came to and my husband Louis was calling my name and Shelby was no where to be found.Because I was injured they wanted me to stay put until the ambulance arrive but I didn't care I was inconsolable and kept screaming and crying for my baby.No one could understand that the only thing on my mind was the whereabouts and safety of my yorkie.

I went to the hospital for x-rays and when I was released we went back to the scene and searched for her.We found her on the side of the road she had been hit by a car (we think).We picked her up and took her home and buried her under the oak tree wrapped up in her blankie and mom's jersey to keep her warm.

That was the worst day of our lives,my heart was shredded and things have never been the same without her.

I have named one of my new babies Shelby in memory of my first Shelby
