Please accept my condolences. I am so sorry for you loss of Maggie. My heart breaks for you. Please know that yo gave her the best life and she knows that. A very sweet and wonderful Mommy you are. My heart goes out to you Maggies mum.

We are in a similar situation , my mum's yorkie Pebbles was 15 and doing well never a days illness and suddenly in january she started not eating not drinking...

We took her to the vet and they said she had gone into liver failure , it was so fast we are heartbroken

we had to make the dreadful decision to put her to sleep but in all honesty I dont think she would have made it through the night anyway and we wanted her to be free of any pain.

You can go 2nd guessing yourself , you did the best for her at the time and she knows she was loved and led a happy life,that is as much as you can hope for any little one but to get 15 years is a great feat both for Maggie and Pebbles , RIP little ones.

No one will ever replace them and they will always live on in our hearts.

I'm so sorry your heart is so full of pain. You did everything in your power to give Maggie a wonderful life, and she knew it. She showed you how much she loved you and will continue to watch over you from her perch on the big rock over the bridge. In time, your memories of her will make you smile and warm your heart, not break it. Sleep peacefully, sweet Maggie. Hugs.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how devastated you much feel. Sometimes when a dog is put under anesthesia there is a risk that the kidneys can be damaged. You did everything possible to help your baby. Your baby is not suffering and you will always cherish the memories you have of her.

Oh my goodness; I just saw this. I'm so very sorry for your pain. It's so hard to understand when they're "fine one day and sick all of a sudden the next"....but it seems that is the way it often is. You know Maggie had a wonderful life with you and she is no longer in pain or discomfort. She loved you and as hard as it is, I'm sure she wouldn't want you to grieve so terribly.

"Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears;
But laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you.
I loved you so-
'Twas Heaven here with you".

Grief is the price we pay for love~ RIP, little Maggie.
