| I'm so sorry for your loss, I am crying with you. I lost my Evey suddenly on Valentine's Day and didn't know she was so sick either to liver disease. At least you were with her when she passed and she was not alone. Sending you love and hugs. |

| Sweet Pixie Sending you healing thoughts for your broken heart. It is a journey that we don't plan on traveling alone. Pixie is not alone at the Rainbow Bridge ~ it is always comforting to me to picture our beloved pups snuggled together as the sun sets so they are not afraid of the dark. Warmly, Deborah

| My heart just plain hurts for you. I was on my way to bed and took one last look at YT and found your thread. I will say some prayers to help heal your heart tonight. I read a passage in a book once that talked about how we give all of our love to our dogs fully knowing that we will outlive them and will endure unfathomable pain. But we do it anyway - because they are completely worth it, because they are the "souls" that we wish we could be, and because we learn so much from them in their short little lives. When the pain starts to subside, embrace everything that you learned from and cherished about your baby. Big hugs from our house to yours.....

| So very sorry for you loss. It is never easy to lose a furbaby but be assured that she knew you loved her very much. She was able to wait to say good bye with you holding her in your arms. Celebrate the many, many memories you have her and always remember the joy she brought you.

| It sounds very similiar to my girl Heidi (14) I lost her last year..I know what you mean when you say you felt physical pain..my chest was heavy for days. It DOES get better with time..i still feel very sad when i think of my girl..she was with me for 14 long years and i am so very grateful for that..i have pictures of her all over the house. I now have my little baby girl Pixie, and she is the joy of my life..i cherish her and i hope to god that i will have 14 or more years with her too. hugs to you..pm me anytime. Kerry & Pixie.

| Oh Maggie, my heart breaks for you. I do know what you are going through. It's been amost 3 years since our Bandit died. I'm glad that you found YT because I don't know how I would have gotten through losing Bandit without it. This is the place you can come to and talk about Pixie. Share some of your best memories. Soon the good memories will out weigh the bad and you will start to heal. Pixie is not alone, don't torture yourself with that thought. Her little body is in that grave, but her spirit, the part of her that made her the Pixie that you love, that part is running free at Rainbow bridge. She is not suffering anymore and she died knowing how much you love her. I always say we shed one tear for each puppy kiss we got. It will get better, I promise you it will. Just be patient, and don't be afraid to come here and just talk about her. You are in my prayers.

| my darling is gone i'm so sorry for your loss. a sudden death is so hard to handle the pain is so acute that no amount of words can comfort you. i have lost 2 yorkies in car accidents and imo the best thing you can do is get another yorky as soon as possible. you will have to realize that a new dog will have different personality but will stand in tribute to Pixie that you want to live with another one of her kind. warm, gentle hugs to you as you grieve. peggi: |
