| thank you everyone. The vets findings are, a bacteria infection the ate her insides and even if they did keep her over night her fate was already sealed. The bacteria came from either rotting flesh or bird stool. We have nasty ducks that crap every where on the complex. Its been really hard expecting her to do her usual thing, and she is not there. The worst part is she was more like a child to us because we got her after my wife miscarried our first child. She was like our first born daughter. Last edited by Jim81; 03-21-2008 at 03:56 PM. |

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | I am so very sorry to hear about your beautiful little Princess. She was a doll! They are a part of our family for sure. She's an angel. I never realized until YT that there are so many things that can happen to our babies, just like real skin babies that are so Precious to us. So sorry for your loss.

| Im so sorry for looing your baby, i hope in time you will be able to heal and get a new baby, i lost a springer spaniel and i know what your going through. about a week later my nephew brought me this big purse and gave it to me and a little head popped out my little kaycee he is eight years old now and it really helped through my grief. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I am so so sorry for the unexpected loss of your precious baby girl. I agree with you....they are like our babies. My hubby & I consider our 3 (soon to be 4) yorkies as the "kids we never had together" since we were married only 5 years ago; past our child-bearing age. What you are going through is something everyone on YT will have to bear one day, yet it is one of my worst fears. It is the one yorkie experiance I wish I did not have to go through. | So sorry.... I had no idea..that this could happen like that......I am so amazed that the infection could eat from the inside out, Did that not show up in a stool sample?????? Or did the Vet do one at all????? I pray that you will learn to love another yorkie one day...... |
