Skoshi Passed Away This Morning

I do keep wishing i will wake up and it will be that morning again so i can change everything. i know im gonna have guilt just because i struggled with my decision so much in the first place.

or why out of all the dogs and cats that get spayed and neutered why did skoshi have to be one of the ones that die. I know its selfish but we would all think that at this time.

I know i had no way of knowing anything but i never trust anyone with my babies. they werent just my dogs they were my babies. I just never thought i would get him neutered and then i finally got the courage and this happened. Just knowing i couldnt be there to help him or dont know what he was thinking. I dont want to change anyones mind about getting your babies spayed or neutered because that is your personal decision and they all have their pros and cons. Just do lots of research and be sure about ur decision.

your OP. My heart still breaks for you. I can't believe such a thing has
happened. I am glad to see you trying hard to get on with your life.
It will take time but you will do it. You were doing what was really
best for Skoski because it would have given him a healthier life.

I wish there were something I could do to take away the pain, but our lives are full of times that we wish we could go back and change. Please take care of yourself and let Kiele help you heal. I just read this, and I am so very, very sorry. I am feeling your pain, and my heart goes out to you. Please don't blame yourself, you had no way of knowing what would happen. None of us do. We're only human, and sometimes, things don't turn out the way we had hoped.

I am so so sorry for your loss...my heart just did a nose dive when i read this about your baby...my prayers are with you and it will get better a little each day but do it at your pace and no one elses..,if you feel like crying do so!!! but also try to remember all the good days with your baby and that will help you heal as well!! And you know we here at yorkie talk are always willing to listen to you so if you need to write it out do so!!!

Trust is a decision. It is hard, but we all have to trust people with our babies or we can't keep them healthy and it isn't a real healthy attitude to have personally either. I mean I have for kids (skin) and when they are in the hospital I am putting their lives in other people's hands... or when they go to school (tried homeschooling til the 4th was born and just wan't up to schooling the others w/ a baby) I am really scared. I don't trust the school to keep them safe (w/ my heart) but I have to put trust in them (w/ my head) that rationally they won't be one of the ones shot by some freak.... it is hard but it is the sane thing for all of us to do.

I'm sorry for your loss, but maybe you need to go to a pet loss group or somehting..... to help you work on trust issues.... eventually you will have to trust again... you don't want this to make it where you can't get your other dogs properly cared for... you know?

This is so true. I know 3 people who have had a parent die on the table due to an embolism.
Something totally unrelated to the original reason for the operation. It is so sad.
And it makes us so wary of "going under the knife".

Personally unless it were a 'life or death' matter, I would never have elective surgery.

Neutering/spaying our pets is necessary.
just such a sad thing happened to Skoshi.
