I see threads for just about everywhere but Kansas...so why not start one? I'm sure there are several of us on here, but I don't see too many.

Theres at least one other person here from Kansas. I live in northcentral kansas. LOL, is there only two of us.

lol, I get asked that alot when people ask where I am from. They say isn't that where toto is from. :). I am from Pittsburg, btw.

I live in Belleville, up by the Nebraska border. Oh how cute your babies are. I have five Yorkies and am loving it.

I just have one, he is 6 months old and weighs about 5 lbs. I looked at your thread and looked at the pictures, how cute. You are soo lucky to have so many. I am trying to find another one, I want to get a girl.

I am bumping up this cool Kansas thread :) Kansans are the coolest :) haha!!! There aren't too many of us?? How many of you guys actually bought your yorkies in kansas?? I got Gracie in Missouri and Staci didn't you get cosmo in oklahoma...maybe this state isn't big on yorkies...who knows...:) And jbergstrom welcome to yt...your puppies are gorgeous!!!

I got Callie in Kansas!!! Glad to see we're not alone guys! Kansas is pretty cool, no hurricanes, earthquakes or all that crap. (We do however have the occassional tornado, but most of those are in OK) I love it here and will never leave!!

Hi Ya All!LOLOL I live in Iola Kansas (southeast). I have not found many Kansans on here So hello to all. I bought my yorkie in Girard Kansas..about 45 minutes from here. She is a vet breeder and her animals are great. I would really suggest her to buy from. She gives a lifetime guarantee unless its caused by you! ;) My Mason is 11 weeks old and is the sweetest thing in the world. I am also going to get a little girl i think.....Nice to meet you all!!

I need to talk to that vet then :). I want to get a little girl and girard is not very far from me at all.

I dont know if she has any yet... The last i knew she still had a little boy..Masons brother. I cant remember the number but you can type in Laura Morland on the net and her vet clinic will come up! I know Mason cost $500.00. He came with shampoo, his 2 sets of shots, bil-jac, eukanuba and some nutrical and papers. Never hurts to call and ask her. Wish ya luck. Might let me know if she has any little girls :)

Iola is only about 40-45 minutes away from me. I live in Fredonia. Glad to see there are more Kansans here!!! It's also nice to know there is someone here close my age!! Now I won't feel so old!:D You're still younger, but only one year! ;) PM me sometime.

That is great, I know there are more of us out there. 3 of my yorkies were bought within 10 miles of me in kansas and the other two come from Nebraska.

Hey everyone .. I'm not from kansas, from oklahoma.
My husbands relatives breed yorkies in kansas up by Lyons,Kansas and we are talking about getting a little female for my year old male to play with and keep him company when "mommy and daddy" are at work.

Hey, I'm originally from Oklahoma, just recently moved to Kansas. I'm from the Tulsa area, where are u at? Are your husbands relatives going to have puppies soon or do they already have puppies? I don't know where cowetta is but I have heard of it.
My husbands relatives more or less have a kennel. They breed and sell their animals, can air ship the pups give them vacs. before you get them.
but as far as if they have pup now or are expecting some i am not sure
We asked onetime and they were selling a pup for 600. Personally I think that is way tooo much. We got our little terror from someone that my husband worked with for 150 without papers, first shots and food to get us started.
or 500 with papers, etc.... But since we aren't gonna show him or breed him i could have cared less about the papers

Ya, some people can be outrageous with their asking prices on yorkies. I've seen some for as much as $5000! So, $600 would be like pocket change! $5000 is so ridiculous to me! I paid $500 for mine, so $600 isn't too bad.

Do you know how much they ask for them. I am also looking for female, for my little guy to play with.

I think when we were up there in march we asked them and they said 600. Not sure if that is like a "family discount" or not though.
