For the people who live in Chicago, let me know what groomers are good. My fiancee is afraid of some random groomer messing up Diesel's hair.

I just discovered a place called Krizer's natural pet foods on State and Roosevelt in Chicago that recently started offering grooming and they have done Archie twice now and I've been very happy with the result. It's a young guy who does the grooming and last time I was in I saw a certificate the shop had one for "best new groomer" in some groomer's show, I guess. Archie comes home very soft and shiney and cute as can be. They guy seems to take direction well. It's about $45.

It is worth the trip to go to Bark and Bath in Monee if you live on the Southside.

If you live on the south side and want to drive a bit. There's a great place that we take Toby too in Northwest Indiana (Crown Point actually). It's called Linda's Dogs n Suds. She specializes in small dogs. And she is awesome!

I took my yorkie boy and my parents' yorkie boy (tedddy and chewy) to a place called MY BEST FRIEND which is in Forest Park (right next to Oak Park). If you don't mind the drive from chicago. they are pretty friendly and they do a great cut. They trim everywhere and bathe the dog. The doggie smells pretty for a week atleast!!! and they always attach a cute ribbon to each dog's collar. the price for cut and bath is $ 38 for a yorkie with crazy matted hair. (like mine was).

We have grooming with Marna at our daycare, she has 20 years experience and knows grooming, if you ever want to try her! She's great!
