| Cincy people...Vet question Okay so I was wondering if anyone has ever had their dog spayed at the Animal Care Center there are 3 locations 1 in Fairfield, 1 Reed Hartman and 1 in Forest Park. Well I have a free spay certiciate there and it would be cheaper than having her spayed at my regular vet but it worries me. I usually go to Lakota Hills Animal Clinic, anyone else take their yorkie there?

| i would go spay/neuter are very routine surgerys with at least 3- 7 done daily at any given vets office of course there's still a risk as it's surgery but i don't see how one place would be any different than any other.

| You need to check to see if they do pre surg labs and what kind of aneshesia they use. My vet does all hat stuff please an antibioic injecion and a pain injecion a the end of surgery. Cost more but worth it. |

| Thanks yeah my vet gave me a breakdown of the costs of the spay plus the pre-surgical bloodwork including an Acid bile test and the total came to about $405, but this including the anthesia and IV fluids and pain meds and stuff. If you don't mind me asking Janie Doyle what vet do you use?

| I go to Pet Care Animal Hospital. Peter Hill DVM. He has an office on blue Ash rd off Ronald regan HWY 513-793-3032. I think he also might have an office in Mason. He has a lot of Yorkie clients and he also is the vet for the Newport Aquarium. I have been with him 3 years He also does the bile acid test. I had my Abby tested 3 years ago. I loooooooooove him. If you want to meet him and get prices I will be glad to go with you. He knows me very well since I have 6 Yorkies. Any more questions just ask. Janie ps I just started the Cincinnati Yorkshire Terrior meet up group and we had our first meetup this past weekend www.meetup.com Janie |

| Hi sallen 15 Did you get my PM . Have you had a chance to go to www.meetup.com and join our Yorkie group? We had a great meet up. I am trying to get our group bigger. Do you know of any other Yorkie Moms ? My groomer is named Beth, the owner of Paw's Palace on Montgomery Rd in Silverton. She is bonded and great . I have been using her for over 10 yrs and never a problem. She is so good that she is very busy and you USUALLY have to book 2-3 weeks in advance. She grooms alot of Yorkie's and her average price is $40.00 . She is a litttle high for me but because I trust her and never had had a problem she is worth it. If you call her and use my name she will give you a $5.00 discount for the first visit. She will cut your Yorkie however you want. She is not open on tthe weekends, I have 3 days off during the week so if you need me to take your baby for you I would be glad to help , she is only 3-4 miles away. Her telephone number is 513 -791-PAwS. Ask for Beth. She usually is there 7:30 am till 4pm. Janie Last edited by Janie Doyle; 08-10-2007 at 06:34 AM. |
