| Vets in Chicago Hello all !!! I am new to Yorkie Talk I have a new pup he is now 5 months old. I am not so happy with my current vet. This is my 4th Yorkie in 26 years and all have been in the best of health so there wasnt the need for a Great Vet. But this little guy was born with a Hernia and needs to be fixed. His twin sister( see picture) has 2 hernias so we need to find a Vet who knows how to deal with small dogs and surgery. Any suggestions???? |

| Answer to my own question??? Well my pup Oliver and his twin sister have just Hernia surgery. There were no problems(TG). But the Vet was the best!!! I have been to a few Vets in my 26 years with Yorkies. This guy Dr. Scott Rovner (Roscoe Village Animal Hospital) talked to us for about an hour and a half about the whole process and what we could expect. We saw he 6000 sqf newly built facility it was very advanced in our meet and greet we had a great conversation on how he feels about rasing a pet and also that he has lots of small dogs as patients. Which was good too hear. So the the Pup is up and feeling very spunky and dosent even know he had surgery. Cant wait till the meet-up on Saturday?? |
