I will be living back in Ohio in sept for 7 months.
I got my furbaby at 5 months old, he's almost 7 months old now. He was a hellian at first. We've had to break him of A LOT of things. But now he's just adores me and has to always follow me and checks up on me at night. He also is my personal alarm clock. he wakes me up about 10:30 every morning. He has two play buddies in this apartment building. A half jack russell/ half beagle and then a pug puppy. He loves people, kids, and animals.. yet is protective of me.
Oh yeah my little furbaby isn't so little. He's a teapot weighing at 12.5lbs

your teapot sounds so sweet!! Isn't it cute how they check up on us? What part of Ohio are you moving to? Are you originally from there? Welcome to the thread. We are wanting to have a meetup in the fall which sounds close to when you will be returning.

I have been to Metamora...once. IT was neat. That's a field trip for the children here when they are in school. I remember cause ours went there with the public school system (when they attended public schools, that is!).

I am orginally from Ohio, right about the middle, from a little place called Crestline. Is that close to where you are going to be moving to, upindust?

I'm from Jackson County Ohio(even though I have also lived in northern). I spent 9 years in Jackson county and graduated there. The town is on the southeastern side right by WV. A town called Wellston.

Hi to the new person:wavey: I am Brandy and my little guy is named Jeter, well his big AKC name is Petrick's Sir Jeter Pendragon but we call him Jeter;) I am from Sandusky Ohio, you know Cedar Point;) Nice to have you and your furbaby join us!!


Winston's mommy, Jeter is afraid of the pool too. He does look so cute when he swims though. I was thinking of getting him a little wadding pool for babies so he could play in it on the hot day's . My husband was teasing me and said I should just get a plastic dish tub since he is so dang tiny.

Yorkielvrim, you asked about finding a small stud, sometimes breeders will offer stud service, my breeder does. Look on their web site and see if they offer it. Also once Jeter gets all his testing done, I am going to start a breeding program up with my Mom. You are free to PM me if you would like information on my breeder.

I don't know if I've posted on this yet. I'm Emily and I live in Canmer, KY which is very close to Elizabethtown, KY & Glasgow, KY. I've had my baby Lilly since September and we're expecting to get another pretty soon. She'll be a year old July the 8th!

my husband and I were trying to work out a trip there when we come to ohio.. but for 2 days at a hotel and tickets it's alittle over 200 dollars so we might just go to busch gardens here since we can get in free one of the days(military thing)

Hi Everybody!! I am Ashley-Zoey101 and am a new yorkie owner of Zoey who is 8 months old. I live in Boonville IN the same as my aunt Lisa -Winstonw. We got our yorkies at the same place, and they are a day apart, but are unrelated. Zoey is half sister to lisa's mom's yorkie Gus though, and he came from the same place. I'm gonna be in 8th grade next year. I hope to come to the meetup in the fall too!

Hi everyone hope your weekend was wonderful. MY DD is getting married next month and there was a wedding shower for couples given by her fiance's cousin in Wilmington Ohio yesterday. It was a cook out type and the weather was perfect. My Husband and I got there at 1pm and most everyone left between 7-8 pm. I was exhausted this morning !!! It was a great day ! How can I post some pictures ?

I have been posting replies etc. on mysite by pulling up our social group but I noticed they aren't getting on this thread? I am not sure why they are going onto the social group messages but not being put on this thread?

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? If you haven't seen my post please go look at it, I have posted some concerns about my new puppy who is 12-13weeks old he had to be hospitalized in the emergency vet hospital at PNC.

I am so worried.

I am glad Zach's surgey went well. We have been praying for his recovery. I have a son who is 16.

Did you post a thread about your sick puppy in the sick and injured thread? You might want to try that section to get responses from people who have had experience with what is wrong with your puppy. I hope that he gets better soon!!

Hi Ashley! My son Kennedy will be starting 8th grade too! He is # 2 out of my 4 boy's. ( my oldest son Mason just finished 8th grade;) ) A tip for you... Take advantage of your study hall to do some homework, Mason did not have much HW this year because his last class was study hall, and I know he used that time for home work because he never had missing assignments and got A's and B's all year! He had lots of free time after school and was thankful!!

Lisa - Glad to hear about no flooding in this area. You asked about Red's Pet Day. I do not know anything about it, but if I hear something, I will let you know. The new stadium is so nice. I hope you come to a game, someday.

Chimicole - Has your furbaby been back on the "boat" again? Lol. It sounds so cute.

So many new people to this thread! Welcome Upindust, Kait1664, and Emilyann. We are so glad you are here. We hope to have a get-together in the fall, when all the new puppies get big enough to socialize, and we hope you can come, too.
