Janie Doyle - You asked about posting pictures. You can write your message, then click on the paperclip that you see above as you are writing a message. Next you click browse, and it will take you to your pictures on computer. Choose the picture you want and I believe it says upload. Upload it and it will post. I hope that helps..

Littlelady - I am very sorry about Davey and I hope he is doing better. I wrote a message on the OIK social group. What you write on the social group message board does not seem to connect to this thread. So we have two places to write messages!

Yes I made a new thread with what is going on and I have a few responses.
Davey is at my vet right now and the ammonia bld level at the vet was normal so that is promising but now this over growth of normal flora and why it has made Davey terribly sick, Its usually the ulcerative issues that cause infections to become septic and that is what does these little guys in because they don't have a lot of body mass-weight to draw on so they can go with out eating until the gut can heal.

I am sorry my little Buddy was hit by a car on May 5th because he has been a good producer. Angel had 7puppies. He had excellent qualities and his coloring was good, he weighed 4.5 lbs but his temperament was great also, he learned quickly. I miss him desperately. He would have made a good stud.

I had my mother move in with us in August of 2001 she was diagnosed with lung cancer in DEcember and she passed away May 7th 2002. I had the task of taking care of everything for her. I am still getting threatening letters trying to sue for bills, my dad had divorced her and she owned only a few belongings on her person and nothing else. Then in 2003 my Granfather had fallen in his bathroom and laid there for 8 hours before his neighbors noted something was wrong, they called ambulance and the hosptil in the quad city didn't do anything and sent him home in the care of his neighbors, I got a call and drove 4 hours to find him breathing very hard and I took him home to Indiana and I had to get Guardianship of him and I took care of him until he began exhibiting aggressive behavior associated with Alzheimers. After having to put him in a Nursing home he passed awy with in 5 months. He blamed me for all his anguish. He couldn't even remember my name. He was the gentalist man all my life it was the most difficult thing I ever had to go through. I couldn't even visit him or I stirred him up so he got uncontrollable. He didn't own anything except a few pieces of furniture. He was a WWII vet and he had no money in the bank but because I could not provide a bank statement from the illinois bank he had an acocunt with 2 1/2 years before I applied he was denied medicaid. I get threatening letters every time I turn around for his medical bills. I wish you could sue the system when it denies service for stupid reasons. I could provide info were we had the money transfered from his illinois account to start his new account in Indiana. They absolutely needed a bank statement with a zero balance. Getting ahold of the bank didn't help they had closed out all old accounts they sent something to the Medicaid office but of course they said they never got it.
I made sure he was buried in the Rock Island Arsenal cemetary where My Grandmother was already buried.
I miss them terribly.

Littlelady - You asked about the thread and the social group. I think Tatertot (Ashley) set up the group so we could continue talking, even if this thread ended. From what I can tell, another difference is this thread causes your post count to go up, but I do not think that happens in the social group. It has been great getting to know people in both areas. :)

My bad news for the afternoon is that my daughter just called and said her furbaby cannot stand up. He is shaking. I told her to go straight to the vet or if they close, go to the emergency clinic at 6:00. Not sure what the problem might be, but she thinks he might have eaten a macadamia nut. Are those poisonous? I cannot meet her because I have to go to a funeral service. She was going to go with us also. So I am getting to leave for the service and I am so worried about him. Say a little prayer for him. There is a picture of him and Piccolo in my album. Thanks....

Oh Lisa is it the little chihuaha? Oh no and they are so little too. I'm sorry you are having these bad things today. Please let us know what she finds out at the vet.

Thanks for the kind messages, everyone, about my daughter's dog. He is a Chihuahua and his name is Poquito. My daughter took him straight to the vet and found out he had an injury, while she was out. He is doing great and I am so relieved it was not a poisoning issue. The vet said he either had a sprain or strain (my daughter could not remember which) and they gave him a shot, with pain relief, and I think steroids. He has to take it easy for a week. No knee problems either.

Lisa and Pic- That is so good he is doing okay!! Thank goodness it wasnt a poisoning accident. My grandma's dog(Buster) about a couple years ago got into a poisoning accident and died:( But then i think a year after that me and her went to this s**t tzu breeder and we both got a little s**t tzu!! WOOOOTWOOOOT lol.. But yes so happy he is okay! And thanks for the welcoming message up at the top:)


Winstonw- Do you remember Buster! And guess what i forgot to tell you yesterday at the bible school thing! The groups were split up into the brothers names and i was teaching the Zebulon group lol I was so anxious to tell you!:D

Hello all our OIK friends! Hope everyone had a great Wednesday. I was just thinking about all the YT members going to the meet-up in Kansas City. Wish we could go. Has anyone ever been to something like that? Can you imagine all the Yorkies in one place? Can't wait to see the pictures.

That is funny about Zebulon. For the rest of you on the thread, my son Evan is doing the summer musical play for high school students in the Evansville/Warrick Co. play. They are doing Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Evan plays one of the brothers of Joseph....Zebulon. Small world getting him for bible school too!

I cant sleep and thought I would share my good new's with all of you on this thread...I am going to be going to see my baby girl Yumi Yasha hopefully this Saturday!!!!! I just got a few pictures in the e mail from my breeder today and I am just so excited. I will post pictures when i go to see her:D

Also I can't sleep because my oldest sister is having twins, she is 33 weeks right now and is on bed rest, she had her appointment today and she is dilated at 4 and is 80% thinned out and Baby B is engaged in the the head's down position!!She called me saying she had taken her pre term labor meds tonight and she woke up in pain in her back and she thinks she is going to go into the hospital just to be on the safe side.. So I am on pins and needles waiting for her to call me back. It's going to be a long night for me:rolleyes:
