Adorame - How is your sister today? Did you get any sleep last night? Also, can't wait to see pictures of Yumi Yasha. What a cute name!

No news with Piccolo and myself today. I am getting ready to clean, which means Piccolo is getting ready to hide. She is scared of the vacuum cleaner!

winstonw 06-19-2008 08:23 AM

HaHa Piccolo!! Winston is afraid too of the vacuum cleaner....He barks at it nonstop!! They are definitely not like the dog in a vacuum commercial that rides on the vacuum! Happy Housecleaning;)ugg!!!

zoey101 06-19-2008 12:04 PM

Zoey just watches and runs from the swiffer and the vacuum cleaner! lol.. By the way winstonw i think we are going to have to flea bomb the whole house lol:( I feel so gross and when i clean zoey w/ that stuff it just goes back to her so i think thats going to have to be the solution!! Nah... none of us have been back in the pool again lately. It rained and got nasty for awhile, and we just haven't had time nor the energy to straighten it up yet! LOL!

I am still getting threatening letters trying to sue for bills, my dad had divorced her and she owned only a few belongings on her person and nothing else. Then in 2003 my Granfather had fallen in his bathroom and laid there for 8 hours before his neighbors noted something was wrong, they called ambulance and the hosptil in the quad city didn't do anything and sent him home in the care of his neighbors, I got a call and drove 4 hours to find him breathing very hard and I took him home to Indiana and I had to get Guardianship of him and I took care of him until he began exhibiting aggressive behavior associated with Alzheimers. After having to put him in a Nursing home he passed awy with in 5 months. He blamed me for all his anguish. He couldn't even remember my name. He was the gentalist man all my life it was the most difficult thing I ever had to go through. I couldn't even visit him or I stirred him up so he got uncontrollable. He didn't own anything except a few pieces of furniture. He was a WWII vet and he had no money in the bank but because I could not provide a bank statement from the illinois bank he had an acocunt with 2 1/2 years before I applied he was denied medicaid. I get threatening letters every time I turn around for his medical bills. I wish you could sue the system when it denies service for stupid reasons. I could provide info were we had the money transfered from his illinois account to start his new account in Indiana. They absolutely needed a bank statement with a zero balance. Getting ahold of the bank didn't help they had closed out all old accounts they sent something to the Medicaid office but of course they said they never got it.
I made sure he was buried in the Rock Island Arsenal cemetary where My Grandmother was already buried.
I miss them terribly.

I can sure relate to the bill part. My Mom (who passed last July) is hounding me to get Mom's bank statements to him so he can "finalize" her account.
I think the whole thing is a bunch of hullaballoo. They sure do crawl out of the woodwork wanting money after someone passes, don't they?

Things have been pretty calm around here lately. We're going camping tomorrow thru Sunday, so we won't be here. I'm taking my Cordy with me, and my little chihuahua, Cole. DH wanted this huge tent he saw on sale, and I must admit, I think it will be a good investment. We like to camp, and this will be a good summer for it. Especially with gas prices they way they are.

Do any of you have an idea what I can use to calm down the scaly dry skin on Cordell?

She is dilated at 5 now and is 80% thinned out:eeg: but not having any contractions, they told her she could wait it out at home if she wanted, so she has been home resting. I told her she was NUTS for not staying at the hospital. They did an ultrasound to check and see the weight ( both are 4 pounds to 4.5 pounds) and positions of the babies and both boy's are heads down and baby B is engaged:eek: See I tell you she is NUTS for going home! mind you this is her 4th pregnancy and she has them fast no LONG labor for her!

Needless to say I am so worried that she is home and not at the hospital , i just got off the phone and she is like Yah I bet they come tomorrow for sure!! so I guess I will be restless all night again!

I will take my camera and get some pictures of Yumi Yasha on Saturday, i called and mad appointment with the breeder and I can't wait! I am going shopping for a few things for her tomorrow;)

How exciting adorame!! I baby on the way...my sister is pregnant and due in September!! Its exciting!!

Question for everyone: Me and DH are wanting to get a female, but all of our breeders parent yorkies are related to Bandit in some way....Bandit's daddy and grandpa is a very popular stud since they are champions so does anyone else know a good breeder that I can get one from around the same price as Lynn's?? We are wanting the female around my Birthday which is in September.

Lisa and Pic 06-20-2008 09:02 AM

Lisa - I had to laugh about Winston chasing the vacuum sweeper around. I watched a friend's dog, for a weekend, that did that. She also barked at the broom. Piccolo thought Zoey should be afraid, like she was afraid.

Zoey101 - Sorry about the fleas. Hope it gets better.

Adorame - How did the shopping go today?

Chimicole - Have fun camping! :)

Piccolo's favorite dog sitter is coming tomorrow. His name is Robby and he spoils Piccolo rotten. He even sleeps on the couch with her. We are going out of town for the night. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

That is why I had to find a different breeder to get my girl. Jeter's Breeder is just using Jeter's daddy right now as a stud so all her new pup's are related to Jeter as a 1/2 sibling.

My mother's little girl was from a different dad that our breeder had used 2 years ago so I am able to breed Jeter with her little 2 year old girl once Jeter is old enough and has all his testing done. I wish I could of gotten a girl from her al her dogs are so cute and she was wonderful to work with. Also Jeter's breeder was just 20 minuets from my house so i could go visit him before he was old enough to come home. My new little girl is 3 hours and 25 minutes from Sandusky so I guess I will not be going to see her weekly:(

I am not sure of how far of a drive you want to do but you could PM me and i could give you the web site of Jeter's breeder or my new girls breeder if you would like.

I wish you luck in your search for your girl!!

Sadly, I have to wait for my husband to wake up for my shopping fun, he works nights and I have a seizure disorder that prevents me from driving. I am quite sure my husband loves the fact that I can't just up and go sopping when ever I want anymore.. we would be broke then;) I truly feel like a real princess now having a personal Choffer:rolleyes:

OMG I just got back from seeing my little girl!! What a long day!!We left at 4 in the morning because my hubby got off work at 3pm. We stopped to eat and made it to the breeders at 8:45. I couldn't decide yet but I placed a down payment to hold a girl, I still get first pick, just she will wait till I choose my girl before she lets any one else pick a girl, We have a clue to wich one but we would like to see her in a few weeks. My husband fell in love with a little guy who was playing peek a boo with him outside. She told us that the family that were going to take him home can't take him now and my Husband asked her if we could think about getting him too. We have a few day's to decide and if the ride home was any indication of anything then I will be going back next weekend to bring this boy home too!! My husband couldn't stop talking about this little boy:p So I will have 3 babies:D ( My girl is just 2 weeks old, this boy is 4 months now) I have not got a picture of the little dude but I will be posting pictures of the girls later.

I hope that you all have a great day!

Yea for you Brandy! How awesome that your hubby wants the little boy too! (I'm jealous! LOL!)

We came back from camping today.... it was good. Had fun, and even though it rained yesterday (and last night), it was a blast.
It was the first time in over 3 months, my fasting blood sugar was under 100!!! WOOHOO!!! Cordell was something else too.
Hubby carried me across the creek on his back so I wouldn't get wet and cold in the water (cause we saw a skeleton over on the other side, and being the weirdo that I am, I had to go see it). We left Cordy in the more than capable hands of our daughter, who walked him back up to the campsite, and put him down, only to hear a splash and where is my Cordy? In that freezing water swimming to the other side of the creek to get to his Mommy! Silly boy... he was no worse for the wear, but he sure gave me a fright! LOL!
Guess he just didn't know why Mommy was on the other side, and he couldn't go too!

Aww that is the cutest story about Cordy wantin his Momma......he'd go thru field or stream to get to you!!!! He even got in the water without a little boat or raft:p....maybe he will like the water eventually!!!:)

chimicole 06-22-2008 12:24 PM

That's what dh says... he calls him my "little protector" now. Says Cordy wanted to get to me cause he didn't know why Daddy carried me away! Hahaha!

How cute that he wanted to be with his mommy!! I am glad that you had fun.

My husband, Brian, wants to go camping with our boy's, he was an Eagle Scout back in the day:rolleyes:... I have never been camping and I have issues with public potty's ( see I really do belive that I am a true Princess)... I told him that I would go if I had a nice RV with my own potty that we didn't share with all the other campers;)... He is going to be taking the boy's this summer so I just might try it, I might have fun.
