No, Abby and Bandit won't be brother and sister :( Wouldn't that be neat if they were? Lynn has several adult dogs. I think Bandit's mommy's name is Prue and I can't remember the daddy dog's name. I think it's Bear.

Abby's parents are Tootsie and Beau. (bet you wanted to know all that ;) )

They might be related somewhere down the line though! I should ask Lynn.

Lisa, have you talked to Sherri recently? I left her a message last Friday and haven't heard a peep from her. I hope everything is OK. I should give her another call just to make sure.

Oooooh, you girls aren't going to believe this!! Last night, I get a call from my brother, telling me that he knows someone who is wanting to rehome a little 2 yr. old Yorkie girl! So I gave them a call and I'm just waiting for them to call me back to see when I can go pick her up! Can you believe it? I mean, God is blessing me doubly within a week! I get almost teary eyed just thinking about it.

When Peanut died, I prayed that if any dog needed me, that they would find me and the very next day, my Dad called and told me he wanted to buy me a dog from Lynn and now this! Wow, my prayers were answered.

I wasn't going to say anything until I knew for sure, but I just can't stand it! :D

This thread is so interesting, how everyone seems to be connected. I'm also excited about a get-together maybe sometime in the fall. Does anyone have any ideas of which city would be a good place to meet?

Also, sympathy to Tatertot, concerning your missing baby. Again, I am so sorry.

It is really nice to meet you!!! We have in common....our names!!!:) I don't know how old you are, but I'm 44 and I used to have about 2 or 3 other Lisas in every class!!! Yes I am really looking forward to meeting in the fall too! Any city would really be ok...I guess we can see who joins in and where they are located and from that figure what would be the best locale to accomodate everybody. When I come to Cincy, I go I64 to Louisville and then take 75 to Cincinnati. Are you close to Florence? I was going to a lady (Rolfer) don't know if you have ever heard of it....it is like massage, and also helps people with chronic pain/surgery recovery etc to help restore muscles/mechanics/structural integration......well anyway she lived 1 or 2 exits east of the 75 and 275 intersection. I couldn't believe how much it is growing in that area. Her home was in a beautiful new subdivision and the hills etc were just gorgeous! There was a great shopping area right at the exit! Is that close to you?? Well again nice to meet you! Have a good weekend!!

I cannot believe it!! I have OCD too! My son is now 16, but when I was in my first trimester with him I had it full blown...yes awful! I havent had an episode since 93 yeah yeah. In fact, I think it pushed me way far to the other side...I need to clean more --I've gotten lackidasical ;) !

Cordell is so cute! He looks like such a sweet baby! That was wonderful of you to take Cirdell. Has he gotten adjusted to his new home yet? Has he been grieving at all over his past owner?

I'm not sure if it's Diane's sister or not. Is she getting a divorce? If so, that might be it. I actually spoke to the sister of the husband of the couple who are rehoming the doggy. I haven't heard back from them today :confused: It's making me a little anxious. Whatever is meant to be will happen. I have my Abby, I will be content if it doesn't work out. I'll let you know if I do hear anything though.

Yes I am feeling better today thank you!! I have a feeling it might be the same one. Long story here: it is Diana's sister's son who is getting the divorce. Diana's sister has had her for a while and at first was going to get rid of her, but fell in love with her so decided to keep her. Well I think now they have decided to rehome her because her son and the baby will be living at the home with them now too. I think it is hard on the son...makes him sad. So weird because I just took little Winston to Diana's Monday when I got my hair done to show him to her and that is when she said they were going to try and find a home for her. Diane said she is sooo sweet and always gets on her lap. She also sits at the window at the exact time waiting for Diane's sister to come home. I wonder if it is the same one. I hope so cause she sounds really sweet and would be great for you. Small world if it is Again!! Diane's sister's husband was in the 2nd to last time i was there and we talked about the dog. He seems really nice too and I know Diane's sister is too. It is a great family. Keep us posted:)!

I have never used the "quick reply" button - hope I am doing this correctly. You asked about Florence, Ky. I live about 10 minutes away from Florence Mall, if you know where that is located. I live even closer to the other mall you were talking about - Crestview Mall. I have not heard of your doctor, but is sounds like he/she is near here. Does your therapy help? It sounds like you have to drive a couple of hours, so hope you feel great when you leave.

It will be easy to remember your name, since it is the same! I did not have any other Lisas in my class in elementary school, but I am 8 years older than you - 52.

Yes Crestview that is it. I should have remembered that...I got my bridesmaid dresses there many years ago!! That's when we still had McAlpins! Glad to be able to put a general location to you! Is Picollo your first Yorkie or have you had others in the past? Aren't they just the sweetest little things?! Yes my drive to Cincy is about 3 1/2 hours. It used to seem really long, but since I drive it so much it tends to get quicker!

I used to love McAlpins! Too bad it went out of business. That is sweet you bought your bridesmaid's dresses there. I really like our new mall, also. It saves a longer drive to Cincinnati. You asked about Piccolo being my first Yorkie. She is my second Yorkie. I adopted my daughter's Yorkie when she went to Afganistan in 2001. We loved her very much. She died when she was three and we were heartbroken. She was a very small dog and what we did not know, until she became sick, is that she had deformed kidneys. Now we have Piccolo and we love her so much, too!

Your drive sounds very long. Maybe we can have a pet date sometime when you are in the area.

Oh Piccolo is gorgeous!! I love her hair!! You are doing great with all the YT options:) !! You got your pic up on the avatar, and you did that fast reply option perfectly!! It is gorgeous here today. I am trying to weed my flower beds. Winston was enjoying it out there. It is so cute when the wind blows thru their hair.....but Winston has nothing -very short - compared to Piccolo's beautiful locks!!!:)

I'm betting it is the same one! Be sure to tell Diane (if this is the same dog) that I will be sure to give her lots of love and attention and that my husband and son are big dog lovers too. You would think we had a newborn human baby when Abby came home :) They are both so proud of her and love her so much. I know they will feel the same about Daisy.

I'm going to see her and possibly get her tomorrow at 1 PM.

Hey! This is awesome! I am addicted to YT, too! It seems everyone is always so far away. It's great to know my neighbors! I would love to meet up with ya'll LOL ! I have a 13 year old spayed female yorkie named Kirby and a 1 year old female yorkie named Maggie. In June I'm getting another female yorkie. You can't have too many can you?! Tammy, I loved your pictures of Abby on My Space. She is absolutely beautiful! Puppies are so much fun. You asked about Piccolo's color. She looks all blonde in the picture, because her little Santa suit is covering her back, etc. The rest of her coloring is blackish/gray/blue or whatever you call it. It was so much fun watching Piccolo's coloring change on her head, etc., that first year.

So, now this is a little off topic, but can I ask all you experts out there a Newbie question. What do all the titles mean under your "sign-in" names? (Like Yorkie Yacker, Senior Yorkie, etc.) Would love to know!

Tatertot15 - You talked about a dog park in West Chester for a possible get-together in the future. Have you found out anything else? Sounds like it has wonderful possibilities. Do you want to know about any other dog parks? I only know about one in this area and not sure how it compares to others.
Also, does Bandit come home soon? I'm sure everyone on this thread is very excited for you! It was such a happy day for me when my husband and I took our trip to get Piccolo as a puppy.

Lisa E....Funny you should ask about the shih tzus and Winston....Pokey and Packer still haven't totally taken poor little Winston in!! I feel sorry for him cause he wants to play with the big boys so bad and they just kind of ignore him!! It is getting a little better though over time. It cracks me up though cause if I do start giving them more attention than him, boy Winston is so jealous and hops right up on my head or chest, and is like I'm #1!! He definitely stands up for himself especially at the food bowl! He won't share any food with Packer, who is my constant eater!!! Packer is the one in the avatar. I'll post a pic of Pokey too.
I have been taking them on walks and I do think, as Ceasar would say, that it is helping them to bond as a pack.

hey everyone sorry I havent been able to write much this weekend, I've been pretty busy. I am hoping to find out more info on the dog park in West Chester tomorrow.

Also, I am looking into making outfits for our little ones. I love to sew and so last night I just thought "hey I could make clothes for the pups" do you think people wouuld buy them? I also am wanting to make beds and anything else I can think of....tell me what you think. I bought some fabric tonight to try it out. I'll post some pics of it when I get a chance to actually sew it and take a pic of it.

This is my first real post on the board. I was on a couple of years ago when I first started looking for a Yorkie.

I would love to also be a part of the Meet. I live in Lima, OH. This weekend we saw our little one with her mommy in Pierceton, IN. We will be bringing Wednesday Lillian home around Mother's Day also. She is our first puppy though I was raised with a collie and a Llasa Apso as a child

Tatertot15 I have family in Fairfield, we were down there the weekend before last to do my quarterly goodie shopping at Jungle Jims. I can't wait until they finally get the monorail done.

I am more than willing to travel anywhere in the area for a meetup as I only know 1 other person who has a Yorkie.

Thats great!! Welcome to YT. Did you get to check out PetLand while you were at Jungle Jims, its an awesome store. and they have little Yorkie's in there just playing and having a good time. I am hoping to have the meetup around here in Fairfield so I am able to organize it easier.
