I still have both boys. I took Rio to the vet yesterday because of a distended abdomen & he has been diagnosed with Lymphangactasia. Most likely hereditary. Rio will have to stay with us because he will need to be on a special diet and some meds to help regulate his condition. It is not curable, but is managable. This makes it nearly impossible to place him...plus I want to make sure he is taken care of medically. Luckily, Frankie is not related to Rio. He should be fine. We are still considering placing Frankie if the right home comes along.

I'm so sorry to hear about Rio. Are he and Frankie really attached to one another? Hopefully it will all work out for you. I'm sure you are feeling really overwelmed with a third child on the way, but maybe things will settle down and go better than you think.

Wieging, I am new here, but only because I just found the site last night when I ws looking for information about yorkie scams. I am in Marion, about an hour above Columbus and have been looking for a yorkie to love. I was almost 'bit' by a scam (which I am still in the process of trying to expose), but when I din't get "Carley" because there is no Carley, my whole family was really hurt and disappointed. We had even bought her a few things, and now I sit and look at them and almost cry. I'm not looking for a show dog, and I'm not looking for a breeder. In fact, I'd prefer one who would never qualify as a show dog just because they are usually less sought after. I'm just looking for one of the most adorable dogs God ever created, to give him or her the best that I can give. I had really almost given up looking (for tonight anyways! LOL) when I ran across this thread. The first thing I thought when I read your post was that Frankie sounds like the male counterpart of the baby girl I was looking for. I started getting worried when I saw how many pages there were in this thread, then I started getting scared when I saw the direction the thread had taken. What a relief it was to see that you hadn't actually left after all!! Anyways, I know it's been almost a month now since you last posted, and I know that when you originally posted, you were expecting your baby in a few weeks. It's been a few weeks since then, so you are probably pretty busy with that new little one by now, but if Frankie is still available, and if you would be able to get back with me, I would love to meet him and see if we could be his humans! We are coming down to Columbus this weekend to visit my niece, but would even come down sooner if need be. If you could get in touch with me somehow, I can give you my phone number or email addy. ~Be Blessed!!!~ KittyJo Last edited by KittyJo; 01-29-2008 at 07:44 PM.
