| I am glad to see you are back online today. We mean the best but I'm sure we can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. Don't give up on us- we all love dogs and really want to help you find a wonderful home for your babies. TLC gave you fantastic advise. I'm sure you'll find we will all be much kinder to your posts in the future so I hope you'll give YT another chance for your boys.

thanks for all pulling together to help this girl out, and not making her feel she is some kind of monster. I hope she is back on, and realize that most of the reactions are people looking at their own yorkies feeling they could not do this. I have a friend that thought it terrible, then this winter she had to re home a very aggressive girl who finally went too far. She changed her attitude some quick to me again thanks so much, I love to see this today. It is not that I agree with this person or disagree, that has nothing to do with this. she needs help, we all love yorkies. And please please do not take this as criticism of any kind, it is not. but if we scare these people away, they will not come to the best place in the world for help. pooh's mum

| I just wanted to make a comment...I dont know if it is needed or not, but I dont want anyone thinking badly. When I said that I am interested in these boys, I am not looking for free or cheap yorkies. I know their value, both financially and emotionally. To be honest, I came very close to spending $2000+ on a yorkie and still have no problem doing this. My intention with these 2 boys was pure...I really wanted to help and I thought/think that I would be able to give them a great home. I'm very open to having someone thoroughly check me out. I'm a newby here, and I know that nobody really knows me at all, so if anyone questions my motives, then it actually makes me happy...it shows that you all care so much about these babies. Another reason that I jumped so quickly when I saw this post is because I have had sort of bad luck in finding my perfect pup. I have a 3+ year old daughter and lots of breeders have turned me away. My body has not cooperated in me having more kids, but my maternal instinct is still in high gear. Not only will me and my husband be wonderful parents to a furbaby, but my daughter....omg, she makes me so proud....she's a little mommy. Both of my sisters have pets and she is so kind with them. She has never hurt any of them. The closest she has ever came to annoying any of them is over Christmas when she tried to put a dishtowel cape on one of the cats. I know that accidents can happen....but I am a full time mom who wouldnt want my furbabe hurt any more than I would want my daughter to get hurt or be in a position to hurt an animal. If something bad ever happend, it would be MY fault for not supervising properly. I couldnt live with myself if I ever allowed something like that to happen. Anyways, I could go on and on........I just wanted to make it clear that my intentions are good. I dont know if this was needed or not, but after a good nights sleep I woke up and felt that this is necessary. If I were a seasoned YT member, I might look at my posts and have some concerns. |

I think what you said was really nice. I think you would be a perfect candidate for these 2 boys as they are both already 'trained' to be around children. The boyz are not tinies, so the chances of accidents and children are slim. I hope that this works out for you and if not there's another waiting around the corner, what's meant to be will be. Best of Luck

| Actually, that is what really caught my eye, them being bigger in size. Along the way I have lost some hope...I thought for a while that I'd never find my furbabe, but I know now that I just have to keep looking and eventually I will find the right one. It is so hard waiting though! I almost feel like I"m waiting to give birth, except it has been a much longer wait, lol. |

| I have been checking in on the posts, but I closed the option for people to PM me because some people were getting nasty. I would love for Kanda to be able to get my boys, but there are several factors which make this difficult. For starters, I had planned on meeting face to face with the family that adopts them. We are practically on opposite sides of the continent. That would also mean Rio and Frankie would have to travel a long way. I was hoping for someone within driving distance. As far as the posts warning me about "bad people" who look for "free dogs". I am well aware of dog fighting and all of the other terrible things that are going on in the world today. I am prepared to conduct proper screening of their new family including asking for vet records/recommendation if they have any other pets. Thanks to those of you who posted kind words & I'll try to keep you updated. It may take a while to find the right home/homes. Last edited by wieging; 12-29-2007 at 06:20 PM. |

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | ^Can I suggest something for you? If you have some time before you need to give them to their new family, you should post and hang out around here. You will meet A LOT of great people, and honestly many of them become almost like family. When we rehomed our 2, I felt like they were going to members of my family.

Also about kanda, if she lives a long ways away, but is willing to keep in good contact with you and updated on the boys. To me that is still in touch with any of my babies parents, getting updates all the time. I would not want it any other way. You could get some one closer to you and then you may never hear much about them, that closer person whom ever it could be may just want to move on with the dogs and be happy doing this, saying they will keep in touch is not always what will be done, Kanda is a Yt member who loves it here, and no doubt would be on here posting pictures, new toys hair cuts, just like we all do. so you would always see how happy the boys were. Just wanted to add this in your decision making. I am sure she will get a yorkie, but seemed so willing to keep the two together. Years ago when I was taking in rescues, I helped the breeder find good people all the time for forever homes. My brother got one, the deal was the two were to stay together, the woman that got them, only wanted one but said yes to both. Then got rid of the one she did not want. My brother was the lucky one to get gizmo. pooh's mum
