| How can hate clothes so much? Well the cold weather finally found it's way to NY this morning. I bought Buddy two new sweater's last week. One powder blue, the other red. I put the powder blue one on at 6:00am to walk him. He took one look at it in my hand and ran like the wind under his famous blue chair. When I finally got him out from under I put it on him and he then ran into a corner and tuned on his back with all four legs in the air looking pathetic like he was just beat How can any dog hate clothes this much? He looked so very cute. I'll have to take pictures. So let the fun begin for the cold months trying to get a coat or sweater in this furbaby. Last edited by ARCHIE; 10-26-2007 at 09:06 AM. |

| Buddy sounds just like Muffin! She hates, hates, hates having clothes on. She will run and hide when she sees me coming with clothing in my hand. Then when I finally nab her and get something on her, she goes into a total depression. She curls up in a ball and shakes. I have so many cute things for her but she never wears them. I don't know if she is uncomfortable or if she gets hot or what it is. Nothing I try to put on her is tight or binding. It's just so wierd! I DO make her wear a sweater or a hoodie when the weather is cold and she goes outside but otherwise, I don't force it. I've worked on this a long time but from day one she hated clothes. Thankfully CoCo loves wearing all of her little outfits so at least I have one who I can dress up!!

| Diezel absolutely hated clothes. To get him to like it, I gave him a treat and said "good boy" after getting him dressed and then i will take him for a short walk or a car ride. Now he is super excited to put on clothes because he knows we are heading out!

| My parents yorkie, Rylie, doesn't like clothes either. He acts like I'm going to beat him if I decide to put something on him. Then he'll shake like crazy afterwards.
