| I have to leave my baby for the first time Hey everybody! Ok so tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going on our first vacation ever together to Savannah (I LOVE love love Savannah). I'm excited b/c he is a huge workaholic and stays busy either at work, in the yard, or his tractor shop all the time. I think it's great I'll have his undivided attention for a weekend lol. The sad part...I have to board Lexie. We chose not to take her with us b/c we'd be scared of leaving her in the hotel if we went to do something that isn't dog friendly. We'd be scared that hotel staff might accidentally let her run out of the room or worse yet (I'm very paranoid of this) steal her I've never left her before. She's a year old today and she's never been away from me unless I go out for a day, usually no more than 6-8 hours. The place I'm taking her is really nice http://www.endlesslovepetpalace.com so I'm sure she'll have a nice stay but I am feeling really guilty and a little anxious. I'm scared she'll end up feeling abandoned. Am I being a little ridiculous? Will she have some abandonment issues or do you think she'll be ok? I guess I just need some reassurance. I'm scared I won't even enjoy my time in Savannah for worrying about her being sad.

| Thank you, Maya's Mommy! I'm sure y'all are right. I don't have any skin kids but I imagine this is similar to what a mommy feels like leaving her skinbaby for the first time

Thank you. I was pitiful last night. I actually cried. I know my BF thought I was nuts but he was sweet. He said he understands and that I just have a huge heart and a whole lot of love for this baby girl.

| Oh I am the same EVERY time I have to leave my girls.... a total wimp! Hubbie is used to me crying by now when I even think about leaving them a few days before we actually go away. The facilities look amazing at the place Lexie will be staying at.... I mean she's gonnal have her own flat screen TV in her room... Just make sure you teach her how to use a remote control before you leave....LOL. Have fun, you baby looks like she will be taken extremely well taken care of. Lauren Argh! I should add that I am in the same boat as you are right now; we're off to Vegas tomorrow, and already I am totally fretting about leaving my precious furbabies.

| Aww thanks for the birthday wishes for Lexie. She's passed out right now but I'll tell her later lol. FL Tink, I hope your anniversary is beautiful, one year is such an important anniversary! Laurenr, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who gets pitiful. We've had this trip planned for over a month and I haven't been able to get very excited. But I know once I get to Savannah I'll perk up b/c I freakin' love it there lol. The "pet resort" is awesome. They have a great reputation and the owner told me she treats all of these dogs like they're her own. She has a real passion for animals and that does put me at ease. The flat screens sound pretty nice, maybe I should let my BF go to Savannah and Lexie and I will hang out at Endless Love! lol
