| If it was teeny tiny female yorkie all dressed up with a guy, the first thing I would think is that he is totally gay. Now if it was a bigger size one (10lbs +) with a coat on because it was cold, it wouldn't be as questionable. Dogs in general are all ways a conversation starter/ice breaker. Instead of gettiing a yorkie, when you see a girl with a yorkie you start your convo with "I was debating a yorkie before I got my little guy (insert dog name/breed here)." |

| Forgot to add... Getting a dog for the sole purpose of picking up women, makes the dog sound like a disposable object. If you need a dog to pick up women, you need to re-evaluate how you are going about it in the first place. A pet is a lifetime commitment, involving love, patience, time, money, etc. A dog should be your companion, not your "tool". |

| Come on now he NEVER said he was getting this dog just to pick up women. He has other threads on here about how excited he is to be getting his new puppy. One is asking for clothing suggestions for a boy. I think this thread is just a simple question...

| i agree with myfairlacy on this, its a reasonable question to ask if you are a guy getting a small dog. but anyways, hell yea i'd definitely go up to a guy who had a yorkie and start a convo. man, i already do that with ANYONE who has a yorkie b/c i just want to pet them! lol. so my answer to your question, it will prolly help things get started buuuut a few minutes into the convo if you aren't interesting or the vibe isn't there(not that i'm saying you're not) then the girls will prolly pet your furbabie then keep walking. but if you're cute, smart, and got a good personality .. girls better watch out and so should you! haha

one time me and BF were about to walk Abby. We were right in front of my house and I ran back in to get something. When I come out I see that a girl has pulled over her car just to talk to him. She didn't look too happy when I came out. LOL

| I gave my son a yorkie when he turned 17, he's now turning 19.....according to him, when he takes Hobbs out with him, they both get alot of female attention.....and yes, he says he's scored alot of phone numbers.

| When I just had one Yorkie, he came to my store every day. I had a friend who would borrow him and take him for a walk through the park. He always returned with both the dog and a date! |
