| poochie bell update For those who were talking about these bells on the training forum.... just wanted to let ya know! Carson's got it! He's about 10 months old. We've had the bells for about a month. This morning, when we walked him downstairs to go potty, he voluntarily rang them, then stared at the door, like, "well?".... Then he did it again several times today! Whoohooo! I think they work! deb |

| I love them, too. Wouldn't use anything else. For those of you who don't know, go to this site. I think there is probably still a video to show you how they work, too. I can hear them all over the house and late at night it is wonderful, because the bells aren't as loud as a bark! http://www.poochie-pets.net/

| I never heard of them before. I don't have a door handle so will they work for me. I live in old warehouse. The doors are just push doors. I would love to get them if you think they would work for me. Thanks for sharing.

| I use these and they work.........sometimes a little too well. Anytime Chloe wants to go outside, she rings those darn bells....she will bite the ribbon and sling it around, let go and then turn around and look around like okay...I'm waiting.

| Someone asked how you use them. Be aware that they are kind of loud...if you jangle them too hard. both my dogs were a little scared of them at first because when I took them out of the package I showed them, and jangled them. They were surprised by the sound and went running! After that we just hung them on the door and each time we went out, we said, Do you want to go potty? ring the bell... and we would ring it gently. After a week or so, we asked them to just touch it with their noses... Carson did. Now he pushes them and they make a little jangle. He doesn't find the bells and jangle them to tell us he needs to go out yet. But it's a-comin'! yay! It would be better if the outside door was where we always hang out, but we are usually upstairs. I hung a separate set upstairs, and want to train him to jangle that to tell us, but I don't know if it will work, since they aren't attached to the door that leads outside. deb |
