| He hasn't been there for a week. You need to give him time to adjust. It took Sebastian 3 weeks before he really adjusted to living with us. Now he's everyone's best friend.

| If you could get your boyfriend to do some training with skip, that will help them bond. It takes time for dogs to adjust to new faces and homes. Take it slow with plenty of love. |

| Sounds like you've just got a shy pup... Might take him a little time to adjust to his new home... Just make sure he has lots of toys and TLC and I think he'll be fine

| Does your boyfriend not like animals or just this little dog? Like someone said, boyfriends come and go. I don't want to sound harsh but personally the boyfriend would go before the dog. You have to consider that where ever you got him, he might have been abused or Lord only knows what. It takes alot of time and patience with one like that and sometimes they never get out it. Its so sad to see how cruel people can be to animals and we see it getting worse everyday. I hope your boyfriend does comes around and helps this baby adjust. I'm a firm believer that how a person treats animals tells exactly what type person they are. Maybe both just need time but I wish you the best and more so that you take care of that baby. |

| He loves animals. He was just annoyed when he said that. He has been playing with Skip and taking him outside. He even let Skip take a nap in his lap. I am not getting rid of the BF or Skip! |

| it took my 2 weeks to even let my hubby touch them without being scared.. they were both timid when they came here and held onto me for dear life! The hubby didnt take to them so well at first because they "didnt like" him. They were just scared and I was their mommy... they are both very much attached to me but truly love the hubby and skinkids now, they just always come back to mommy for security.... Good Luck and they will both get used to each other... d OH, Welcome to YT! d

| I had to laugh because I was thinking exactly the same thing. I had a husband that my dog didn't like at all and tried to run off. I wound up wanting to do the same thing and finally did! Dogs are excellent judges of character. |
