And they say oh I want a 21b or smaller yorkie and I tell them well I don't that's too many health issues to deal with. And they just remain silent and don't know what to say. I don't have a problem when I go out with Max b/c people don't try to pick him up and most of the time they will ask me if they can pet him before they do. But it is frustrating when people talk out of their stupidity in regards to the size of these dogs. These celebrities have made small dogs be so popular that most people want them just to be like that celebrity and not because they care for the breed. | |

| I was in another pet store a few weeks ago and this mother and daughter (I presume) came right up to me. The mom had a yorkie in her arms. She tried to put hers right up in Maggies face to say hi and I backed right off. I don't trust any animal not to attack her, ya know ? She was alot bigger than Maggie. But anyways, she was going on and on about hers and said I should breed Mags. I said no way, she will be waaaay to small. Of course she had no idea what the h#ll she was talking about. Then they were like, your puppies coat is way to thin, is she sick ? I was becoming more and more agitated and every time I started to walk away, they would follow. Then she said that Mags was going to look just like hers because hers looked exactly like that at her age. Ok, I'm just going to say this, this yorkie was ugly !!! I'm sorry but she was. Her teeth were gnarled and she had this god awful cut and shave thing going on. Please don't bash me, I love yorkies !! lol I found out her daughter was a groomer in this pet store and she had done this poor things cut. I haven't went back into this store since. lol |

| People are sooo ignorant. I have a just under 4 lb yorkie and a 7.5 yorkie mix and I thought my MIX was small. Mckenzie is so fragile I can't imagine a smaller dog than her, lol.. although I know there are smaller |

| I have people say to me, oh I'de never have a dog that small, I bet she's sick all the time. Hope you can afford the vet bills !! This irritates me to know end. I had someone say that to me yesterday at the vets office. I looked them right in the eye and said, "And why is your dog here "? I pray Mags health will stay good but if something ever comes up, we'll deal with it. I'm gaga over her and so is my husband. You do what you have to do for the ones you love, human and fur babies. |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I think I need to find a puppy shirt that says Dont Touch Me! haha... Usually older people ask to touch her and the employees. Younger kids just dive in and start petting. My breeder shows his dogs and taught me that when I pet her to come from a downward sort of angle and her ears will stay perched up cutely. But coming from her head she puts her ears back. SO I have been consistent and then we go to petsmart and she puts her ears back cus all the hands are coming at her. |
