I hear ya my yorkie is 10lbs and everywhere I go people ask me if he's pure breed because he is too big according to them. And I tell them that it's normal for some to be this big and they are just like sure!!

And they say oh I want a 21b or smaller yorkie and I tell them well I don't that's too many health issues to deal with. And they just remain silent and don't know what to say. I don't have a problem when I go out with Max b/c people don't try to pick him up and most of the time they will ask me if they can pet him before they do. But it is frustrating when people talk out of their stupidity in regards to the size of these dogs. These celebrities have made small dogs be so popular that most people want them just to be like that celebrity and not because they care for the breed.
