| pet insurance ) I told the vet to just write me out a rx for it and I took it to Sam's Club with my plus card and only pay $4.06 for 50 tablets. Now the rx told me that 98% of your rx's are people meds. When my mother was on the same med, with her insurance card she paid $5. for 30 tablets. If I used my husbands and my insurance card we would pay $15. for 30, now with the plus card, as corky does not have a rx card we pay only $4.06 and get 50 tabs. Plus the plus program would give us cheaper meds if we did not have inusurance. Like I said I have not checked it to the other insurance for pets yet through the Plus Sam's Club yet but I am going to do that program. I also have Wynstn Too 13 weeks old and will be using it for him if he ever needs meds. |

| I purchased Healthy Paws for my new little boy, but still I am not sure if it is going to be worth it. It has been rated #1 by consumer advocate site Best Pet Insurance Websites | Consumer's Advocate. One of the previous posts mentioned VPI gave them problems for a head bump. Supposedly, healthy paws does not give you any problems for sickness or injury at all. However, preventative maintenance is not covered. But there are no caps on coverage. Will be checking all posts on this topic to read about actual experiences with these companies. Would like to read exactly what their pets went it for, and how much was covered. Not just that they are happy with the company. |
