| ![]() My vet is VERY GOOD AA+++. He takes care of all the K-9 police dogs in a big city (Philadelphia). My sister is also one of the top lawyers that works for the city. No worry. He didn't garuntee no c-section only told me who he breeded his yorkie with and what he felt was safe for his own. What he said ABOUT FUN is that it is a nice experience for her to have her own (watch her interact with them). We were the one's telling him we would like to se her have one litter.

| ![]() At that size right now, she's too small but she's only 6 months. Don't always believe that at six months they're done growing. Some are really slow growers. Lola gained another pound between six months and a year and I've seen others on here slowly but surely make their way to 4+ after only being in the two pound range at six months. They really like yorkies to be 5 pounds for breeding but it really depends on their lineage and the stud and if you know what you're doing(which it doesn't really sound like it right now). Use this time to do some reading and research even if you never plan to be a breeder. Oh and just as a personal note, I've always felt that after a dog has puppies it seems to change their personality. A mama dog has a different personality than one that's been allowed to just remain a pet IMHO. I think it keeps them more puppy-ish and young at heart to not have babies.

| ![]() I'd say under 5 pounds is way too small to safetly breed.
