| How often do your furbabies go pee???? I have to ask because I have pee pad trained Mindy and she goes pee at least 10 times a day and I think that is a lot. We go through at least 2 pads a day. Also she will do poo on the pad but I just pick that up and put it in the toilet. Is it normal for them to go that often? I don't think she drinks enough water to have to go that much but she sure wets the pads. Also for those who have pee pad trained......did your babies often go 5 steps forward and then 2 steps back. We just want almost a week without any accidents and then every so often I find that she has peed or pood away from the pad. She is not quite 6 months is this to be expected? And now she has made it up the stairs and this morning I found poo on the landing carpet. Grrrrr, now I have to block off those stairs.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | how old is your baby? i don't pee pad train so i don't know how much they go normally on pads. I train morgan to go outside and she goes 3-4 times a day because she's learned to hold it until its time to go out. when she was a puppy she went out more often, like 5-6 times (morning, lunch, after work, and then a few more times before bed time).

| If Coby is anything to measure by, Mindy would be completely normal!! I am astounded at the number of times Coby pees. That is one of the drawbacks to paper training - they don't have to hold it. Reggie, our Shi Tzu, never peed (or pees) that much. So we were getting concerned over what we were going to spend on potty pads. So I recently switched over to washable pads, and it's wonderful. We got ours from Little Bit, and they are so absorbant and thick, that we only have to wash every couple or so days. And with the prints, the "spots" don't show (that always disgusts me).

| Ten times a day is a lot. Puppies can go every hour or so (so ten times would be normal), but six months might be a little old for that. I guess you're not alone though. Ellie is 6 and goes 3-5 times a day. As small breed dogs get older I think I have read that they need to be aloud to pee every 4 hours. That is 5 times a day.

| When we first got Vinnie last Christmas we pee pad trained because we lived in an apartment complex with a lot of big dogs and crime. When we moved into our house in July we began to take him outside a lot more and he pretty much house broke himself, although we had fully intended for him to end up housebroken. When he was using the pads, especially when he got the hang of it he would go between 10 and 20 times a day, mostly i think for praise and a treat. It go to the point where he would just squeeze out a few drops, haha, little booger knew how to get what he wanted, and still does!! Now he goes considerably less, he'd rather go outside to play!

| After I come home from a day at work, the pee pad is absolutely loaded and it's disgusting. There's some on the floor too....they must go quite a few times a day to make that sort of mess. Taking the weekends into thought though, I'd say he's good for 5 times a day... |
