Fabulous idea - with the best intensions - and I'd buy a T-Shirt...

however it's way more complicated than just starting a "fund". You'd have to have committee, and the committe would have to be trusted to pick and choose WHO would get the benefits of the money to find their baby. And then they would have to decide "how much money" would be used and HOW it would be used? How long would you look for one if there were others needing help? And it goes on and on. I hate to burst your bubble - but I don't see Admin letting this happen. It will only end up with problems.

It's a "wonderful" idea and you're so very sweet to think of it but maybe you could find a place that already does this and donate to them. Or start a legitimate one yourself.

Seems admin has already vetoed the idea of a fund back on page one. i would like a t-shirt tho if it gets off the ground. the fund idea has been brought up many times in the past and admin won't allow it and I understand the issues with it.

I think the tshirt woud be a great idea. Why couldn't we do it and donate the funds to a rescue. I would be in on it.

I think the rescue idea would be a great idea.

Could I make another suggestion for what it may be worth. What if we would donate to the Rescue of our choice in our own home town in Maddie's name.

I think there would be more participation and it wouldn't involve a collection (fund ) that can get rather 'sticky'
