| After a bath do your Yorkies? Ok, the last several times Winstin has had a bath, he will come in the living room and stretch out. Then he will crawl with his front legs and his back legs are all stretched out behind him. Do your babies do this and does anyone know what the point is? His silver head with black tips is starting to turn red already. Seems like seven days ago it was a pretty silver and now I can see the red in it. I do like the silver though. I wonder if they make hair dye for dogs LOL.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Morgan does this. she is trying to dry herself off after the bath. She'll lay on her side with her back legs straight out and drag herself around with her front legs. its hilarious. Then she'll digging and rub on anything and everything. This is why i blow dry her so she doesn't get everything wet. LOL

| Morgan, you are funny. I have used the blow dryer once. He seems to dry pretty fast. I am sure I will use it through Winter because I do not want him to be cold. He has a vet appointment today for his last shot, so he s nice and clean.

| Roo hates the blow dryer! Luckily I've only used it a couple times so far since it's been so nice out- she calms down quickest if I just sit with her out on the deck in the sun! Anyway she does the same kind of thing except it's mostly with her head but I hate it because she does it even when we're out on the deck- I'm scared she'll get a splinter! Anyway I agree that he's probably just trying to dry off! |

| These guys are funny. We just got home from the vet. On Tuesday we went in for his eye and he was 3.7 pounds, today he was 4.0 pounds. How did he grow like that in a couple days? He will be 4 months on October 10th. I am thinking my little boy is not going to be so little. Around what age do they stop growing?

| I use the hair dryer to dry my girls after a bath. I do not want them getting the floor wet or tangling up their hair. But, the way they try to express themselves thru the stretching and dragging is hilarious .... try weighing your baby before she eats and then after, they gain oz. so fast that way!

| Yours sound pretty calm after a bath....Mine or the total opposite after their baths!.... Their legs are running in mid air even before their feet touch the floor, they hit the floor running..... and it's like that for about a half hour... up stair, downstairs, diving in their beds and spinning like a top.... ZOOM-ZOOM-ZOOM

| Bath Yeah, he's probably trying to dry himself off. Chibi rolls around on the couch, snorting, trying to get himself dry, and he makes the couch wet. Of course, this is when he gets away from the blow dryer. My husband is really happy to see his clean little boy great him at the door, even though sometimes the little guy is still wet! I love Yorkie baths!

| Chip is like that too, I bathe him in the upstairs bathroom(he's not usually allowed upstairs). I tell him to go downstairs he sprints into the living room and throws himself into his snuggle ball and rolls and rubs himself all over in it. He keeps rubbing his face more than his body though, then he starts to lick his paws. He hates the dryer, he sees it and starts pulling away so I take him out in the driveway to dry off when its nice out. |

| Tobey doesn't like the blowdryer blowing on his head or face, but he is fine with it for the rest of his body. I dry him completely, but no matter how dry i think he is, he still goes nuts on the couch or the bed- i kinda looks like he is swimming! i think maybe it's his ears still being damp that drives him so crazy. My husband and I just laugh at him

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | LOL I am sitting here just laughing reading your post because Stedman does the exact same thing. I mean TO A T! He'll also roll around and flip himself over a million times on the floor and rub the side of his body up against the bottom of the couch - he just goes completely CRAZY after his bath. lol. My husband always says, "Uh oh babe....he is spazzing out again!" LOL. Tatum gets so crazy after her bath too - but really she just gets crazy in a sense that she wants to play with Stedman, attack him and so forth, lol. There is no doubt about it - after bath time, I have two CRAZY Yorkies running around this house
