Mertle the Turtle Yesterday evening Nala goes over to our Fig Tree (which is huge) and starts whinning and digging and the bottown of it. She starts yanking out roots and all! And one point she was tugging on some roots so hard her back feet would come off the ground, lol. She keep doing this for about 20-30min. so finally mom goes to the rescue...she was trying to get her head in the hole that wasn't very big but couldn't due to a limb so I stick my hand in there to prove to her there's nothing in there and low and behold I find Mertle the Turlte!! Your dogs catch rats and moles, mines catches turtles!! Don't worry I took him across the street to a "safe" wooded area and let him go!

I have 5 turtles in my backyard(2 box, 1 map turtle, 2 sliders) and none of my dogs bothers with them. However, one time Pepper did find and got excited over one of my crawfish that climbed out of my aquarium and was running around in my living room.

Nala is so funny! Be thankful it wasn't something gross I can just see her little butt shaking while she was pulling so hard.

My yorkies love my aquarium. I even have a chair set in front of it so my yorkies can jump up and watch the fishes. Pepper is the yorkies that enjoys it the most and I alway tell people that it's her aquarium not mine.

We got an aquarium last weekend. My yorkies are NOT pleased. Not pleased at all!! They don't like the noise the filter makes. Plus, last night the electricity went out in the middle of the night, so when it came back on at at 2 o'clock in the morning the filter kicked on and the dogs went bananas!! I guess they don't want any new animals in their territory!

How cute! She is a great hunter! Rocky loves to terrorize my neighbor's turtle, Oscar! He runs around him in circles and barks ferociously! I don't think Oscar has nearly as much fun as Rocky does!
