| Dog treat business, Anyone interested?? Hi, My name is Crystal and I have been trying to find a way to make extra money and still be able to work from home. After spending hours looking for at home jobs on the internet I have not found anything. Then I realized that I make treats for my dog so why not make them and sell them. It is something that I can do from home and make a little extra money. I wasn't sure where to start to sell them then I realized that selling them on here was a great idea. I was hoping that all of yous could let me know if yous would be interested in buying my dog treats. Thanks for your time. Crystal |

| you might have to get approved so that you patent can your product...probably needs to pass certain bylaws to ensure that the ingredients are safe (i'm sure they are, though!). good idea!!! |

| You could also look into selling them to pet boutiques, and at flea markets/swap meet if you have a significant amount of product. |

| Dog Treat Business We own a Dog Treat business in Lancaster and we have done very well. I have to tell you is a lot of work. I would suggest checking on the internet for requirements that you need in your state. Along with analysis on each of your treats you will also need to have a agriculture license. Baking out of your house would be nice but you take the chance that they may come to inspect it. We have been in business for a little over a year and now have 4 markets and several stores in the lancaster area. Remember that they may come and pull your treats and test them at random just to make sure your analysis are accurate. We have had ours checked once and all of ours were what we were claiming. Lancaster County does have several dog treat businesses in the area. Hope this helps and good luck in what ever you decide to do. Last edited by kathy5508; 10-15-2010 at 06:43 PM. |

| LOL! I always start at the top and read all the way through not realizing. I've done that with 5 page threads!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | It's still good info, though. And I much prefer these kind of bumped threads to the one time posts defending bad breeders.
