Villette - remember in email I shared that when my mother passed away (she'd lived with us the last 9 years of her life), I left grocery carts in the checkout line more than once, because I smelled mother's favorite chewing gum and just lost it...?? Grieving IS a process, and you'll be surprised at what triggers strong emotion at the most inopportune moments. And, it takes as long as it takes....

Villette I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. I haven't been around much lately and just logged on today, I'm really really sorry. It's just about the hardest thing we have to go through, to lose a loved one and to lose the one that's closest to your heart is the worst. I'm sure it brings you some peace that you will see him again one day but in the meantime it's just going to take time to adjust. My heart hurts to think of you and your girls going through this, please know that you're in my prayers and that I'm thinking of you all.

Villette, Most of us have never met you in person but we all feel like we know you through all your wonderful post and all you do for others. I was really happy to read your update. You are thought of so often. My prayers are that your broken heart will heal and you will be left with all the wonderful memories of your sweet husband.

V, like others have said, grieving is a process and it hasn't been long at all for you. I remember after my dad died, I was driving past the Post Office and the man who was going in looked exactly like my Dad. I just lost it in the car that morning.

I hope your son does get to move in with you. Please Take Care.... and know that I think of you and how your doing often. Hugs to you and the girls. :hug60: :aimeeyork
