I want a third babie.. BUT

My husband is not completely 100 percent, but because I want a girl, we're getting her! She is born now, and we'll be getting her sometime in December!!! I know the feeling of longing for another one. I know these are dogs, but it was the same feeling I had when I wanted another baby(human)! I have two human boys and a boy yorkie, so this will be MY girl!
When you have toddlers in your house(someday?) it might be alot to have 3 dogs. My boys are older. Good luck!!!

My fiancee and I moved in together a couple years ago. It was just me, him and Snoot at that time. A few months later I really wanted a little girl yorkie. He kept saying it was bad timing and then I showed him Trixie's face. He fell in love with her and she became a big daddy's girl before ever meeting him, LOL. Well, a few months later I came across another little girl that reminded me of my Trixie. After contacting the breeder she showed me another baby she had (Pia) and it was love at first site. I was once again told it was bad timing, LOL. Well, I guess it didn't matter cause I had already paid for her. Mikey thought I was done and three was enough but then I fell in love with little Paisley. Let me add that was a big big big NO!!! Hmmm, I guess I'm no help with your situation. Honestly though, I think Mikey wanted all of the babies just as much as me. If I truly felt he'd be upset, I don't think we would have all the girls. Snoot's been with me since I was 14, so he goes where mommy's goes. Good luck with your situation.

I only have 1 I live with my bf too and he keeps telling me to wait when I bring up getting another one. Either that or he looks at me like I'm nuts. lol. But before I get another yorkie, I think it's only fair that he gets a dog first. He really wants and english bulldog but for the past few months has been mentioning that a mini schnauser would be a cute brother for Mr. Biggs. He likes them because they're smaller and because they look mean, so it's not as girly as walking a yorkie with clothes and a bow. lol. Little does he know... even if he gets a bulldog, I'm dressing it up!

Decisions like this really should be OK'd by both members of the household....getting the Yorkie over your boyfriend's objections (provided you live together, which I believe you do) only sets the stage for resentment and arguments, and that isn't a good place for a dog to be.

Just let time take its course. If you still want a 3rd when you move, discuss it then. Having 2 should be great for now.

Aubrey my male is neutered and I will be getting Dakota spayed in November. Aubrey is my baby and will always be Hes the one always loving on me, and Dakota does ocassionaly, but she sure does love her daddy.

I have 2 dogs right now though one of them will stay with my parents til we get a larger house. My fiance is also buying me a yorkipoo puppy to keep Roo company when we move as she hates being alone and cries. Anyway I think it really depends on how serious you are in your relationship. If you think this is someone you want to marry I'd be very careful! I think to make a relationship work you definitely need to have equal say in things as serious as a puppy- which is a big responsibility and will be with you for years and years! I know I wouldn't like it if I told my fiance that I didn't want him to go out and buy a new car right now and he did it anyway. So I guess you have to think of it like that- if you're not going to listen to his opinions you can't really expect him to listen to yours!

Anyway good luck with whatever you decide! And if you do get a pup good luck picking out one that will be just right for all 4 of you =)

I think I might weight until me move out. He says that since we are doing long distance relationship, that when we move out he wants to be fully in the other dogs life. As he is only sees Aubrey and Dakota once a month for about 3 days. He loves them dearly, but I do respect him in wanting to wait I can just love on the two I have now even more. They have helped me and still helping me get through this relationship.

Aww good luck I think you made a great choice- plus it gives you time to look around and find another breeder etc! Good luck finding a new place to live and getting your new pup (eventually)!

I think I would wait for a bit. Aren't dakota and aubrey pretty close in age?

I prefer my dogs to be spread out by a few years that way I don't have 3 or 4 senior dogs at one time. Especially with small dogs that live for a long time.

Also, if I remember correctly you are still fairly young. You never know what may happen and your life may go in a different direction. With my dogs I adopted my chi/yorkie when I was a sophomore in college, then I got my pit mix baby a few months later. Then mom "stole" my chi/yorkie mix. Then I ended up moving back home and we were all one big family again. I'm still living at home, but will be moving in a few months. Buying a house is not an option for me, so I will be renting. It is very hard to find a place that allows one dog, much less two or more. I also had the opprotunity to travel the world, but couldn't do it b/c it wouldn't be fair to my pups. I really, really, really want a tiny baby girl I can dress up, but I am waiting until I'm married and have a house of my own.

Just some things for you to think about.

Really? The thing is i have a retractible leash and i like to control how far they can go, etc. If not they would all pull at diff. directions
