I have 2 dogs right now though one of them will stay with my parents til we get a larger house. My fiance is also buying me a yorkipoo puppy to keep Roo company when we move as she hates being alone and cries. Anyway I think it really depends on how serious you are in your relationship. If you think this is someone you want to marry I'd be very careful! I think to make a relationship work you definitely need to have equal say in things as serious as a puppy- which is a big responsibility and will be with you for years and years! I know I wouldn't like it if I told my fiance that I didn't want him to go out and buy a new car right now and he did it anyway. So I guess you have to think of it like that- if you're not going to listen to his opinions you can't really expect him to listen to yours!
