| There are so many great ma and pop type stores where you can get food and supplies for your pets. I live in NJ (which is pretty much all houses/densely populated and losing farms by the second) and still I have 2 great feed stores about 10 minutes from me - they sell all natural, are always helpful, and are even cheaper than Petsmart and other large retailers for better quality products! I always try to support small, local, caring businesses when possible! |

| It would be easier and shorter to list the pet stores that do not support puppymills. They would be called pet supply stores as they do not sell pets!!! Don't let anyone fool you, all dogs sold in petstores come from puppymills or BYB that don't care where the puppy goes or goes through. I know a lot of the puppies here travel in a semi truck to the East coast. Each has a small cage that it rides in. How sad to be spending your whole life in a cage. When someone finally does rescue a puppy from a store they don't understand why it is not house broken. The poor puppy is used to "going" where ever as it has no free space for eliminating and a space for sleeping and playing. |
