I've taken away all the toys that I know for sure come from China.

I took all their toys made in China away, which was all but 2. I have out them away. Iordered 11 new ones from westetdesign? and they were all m=not made in China

I don't buy latex toys because my dogs tear them apart. I'm not tossing any China made toys because it's been awhile since I bought any new ones. But I will be more careful about what I buy them from now on.

all of our china toys are gone, it's sad but I support my vets enough without having to do it becuase of china making my dogs sick, it's the long term effects I am concern about, I am afraid that this toy mess will be months down the road before we know the effects it had on our dogs. If I had paid before attention to our labs I would of fighure out what was wrong with them months ago before they got sick.

You guys, this is more complicated than just whether something is made in China or not. I spent quite a bit of time calling and emailing some of my vendors yesterday and I got some very good information. I am updating my website to reflect this and I will do a post later today explaining what I found out.

Lacy has a ton of toys made in China and I haven't thrown any of them away.

i haven't thrown or taken away any of morgan's toys. she does have any rubber latex squeaky toys, only plush squeaky ones. i just can't bring myself to do it. practically everything is made in china. i don't shop in walmart either. until something else comes up with other companies i will let morgan keep her toys.

I haven't taken codys bobo away or his other toys because he doesnt have much as it is... he loves his bobo too ! almost everything is made from china anyway so what are we suppose to do.

I have not taken away Winston's favorite toys...yet. But he has had them for a long time and has played with them endlessly...what is a mom to do??? I will be extra careful when purchasing anything new...there will be no painted parts, what so ever.

I have only threw away the latex ones. All their other toys I am letting them keep. If I threw all their toys away that were made in China, they wouldn't have anything left. And then I would have some very unhappy dogs. Until I hear further news, they get to keep their toys. I didn't see anywhere where it said all toys that were made in china were bad.
I have washed the toys several times and the dogs have played with them so anything that would have came off would have by now.

no~ and princess is fine... got her new toys from petco and i havent even checked where its from.. but most likely its china.. princess is fine though

I only took away the latex ones.The vast majority of Lexie's touys ae the plush ones. She absolutely LOVES her toys and I do not see any paint on them anywhere. I am suspecting that it is only the paint that is the main issue. Yes, I read some article that says plush toys as well, but I am not so sure about that?!! Who knows? This is absolutely insane!!!

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
